Have 2 cents and if is worth 1 cent to three I am nearly double. My little story: no insurance etc. (do have 2 cents!) A while back I knew I was losing it. Don’t believe it but must be depression. Stopped at MHMR and was diagnosed as severe. They also want blood test, cool. Liver panel sucked, AST=156 ALT=96 and such. We talked and HCV test came up. Came back positive, not much else they can do about that. Tried an HIV clinic and they helped, blood tests, RNA and all. They have continued to monitor since (they are a St. Luke’s affiliate). They now are serious about their HCV program and MHMR has taken an interest and are attempting to begin a program for such. Have another app’t there next week, actually both places and maybe can double my pennies there. My point is there are sherpas to be found out there.
As for the monitoring I am scheduled for another blood test next week and then a test for SVR12 in 13 weeks and another at 6 months and 12 months. Anyone in deep S. TX. sharing our issues I can certainly spare a penny.
And a thanks to so many on this site as surely you are worth dollars now! Oh, and thank God for sherpas!

Haven’t been here in a long time and I find this thread which relates to the thread started when I was here last. I did spend a lot of time being cautious about shipping from China to US and Mr. M here has most of the answers I came up with.
I am in a situation without insurance or ample funds hence comes importation. Of course there is need to find a Dr. willing to help. Then there are the tests and in my case CAT scan and MRI’s knowing that I’ve been infected for 40yrs+. These additional expenses add up although I was able to negotiate very good prices for the imaging scans.
To the point, I went to an HIV/AIDS foundation and asked if they would consider HCV. They were happy to consider it and have since begun to integrate such into their regiment!! All are very excited about this, especially myself. They supplied me with a Dr. willing to more than just work with me. They take care of my blood tests and the Dr. is meeting monthly with a hepatologist who directs us.
Thought I’d throw this out here if it helps anybody even if just to find a Dr. to work with you. It was as good a move as I have ever made.

I have read Greg’s blogs and did see his opinions on FDA regulations. I don’t recall ever seeing where he shipped to US. Lotsa “rules” regarding legal shipping to US. It is not legal.
As for bringing them in on person a good DR. suggested that I go that route. Gets expensive, passport, price of meds, script from US doctor, script from Aussie doctor and a trip to Australia is $3000 rnd trip. I need 24 weeks so multiply x 2. There are lots of other regulations that make it just as illegal to go that route. By chance last 2 times I flew I got the full search and those were not international .Don’t believe there is a legal route to take. I believe either way is a game of chance. Generic Viagra makes it through shipping . plenty of things get through customs and the FAA. Planning on taking my chances. Is a short list of other options. Guess I could get arrested, wondering if they give meds there?

Hello All. All of us trying to live in spite of Gilead. I just now realized how much more expensive treatment is here in the US than anywhere else in the world (except Canada). I was wondering if anybody here had heard of anyone bringing in to the US? Regulations are different here in that both the FDA and the DEA have rules. I find that when I can get by one the other becomes the problem. From what I can tell they are more concerned with things being brought in for resale? All the ED generics for personal use seem to get by and patents are still in place. I wonder if Mesochem will be a problem? Any Ideas?

I totally agree with you Dr. It is important to be as well informed as possible. I believe the Buyers Club has an excellent supply chain and is proven. .I am curious what would be necessary to obtain these meds from the buyers club into the US? Mesochem turned out to become a proven source but there certainly are scams out there. I guess what I was saying is that having merchandise mailed into the US may not be the risk I feared it is..Both the phonies and the true do find their way in without much trouble. The buyers Club is premium as it is a proven route to go, is a God send to very many just as you are for making things happen. Thank you again Dr. Freeman! .

I can’t answer that 2B. Pretty sure it could come down to chance. I have had merchandise sent here including herbals from China. Herbals come in a foil bag. and I have never had any problem. I ordered a dashboard console from Florida which took forever. (2 extra weeks) and when I received it it was labeled that it had been opened and inspected. Why they picked that item I don,t know if it seemed like a bomb or it was just a random check. I will look into it further. I’ve been diagnosed as cirrhotic but I don’t believe him!! But just in case he’s right I do know I can’t afford Gileads goin rate. I also know if I don’t get it I’ll die. Can try to get a freebie from them or just take it upon myself. I will try to get a prescription in the next 8 days.I don’t need a script for China. I may need script from in the US and worse case scenario I wasted $750.00 .Already know what it is if I don’t get the med.
