Congratulations!! I also took the "Chinese rat poison" :cheer: and am also cured!! I was on a waiting list at the Hospital here in Bendigo for around 16 months just to get an appointment at the liver clinic! Cancelled myself off the waiting list a short while ago. I agree that the PBS promise is not all it's been portrayed to be. I really hope those who desperately need treatment get it through the PBS but I fear that may not happen.

Insomnia the only side effect
Undetected at 4 weeks
SVR4 - undetected - all bloods good and GP very happy
SVR12 bloods to be done at end of April 2016
SVR12 - undetected!!!

I have a friend in Adelaide who got started in March on Harvoni through PBS from a public liver clinic. It is happening!

Thanks for the post PKQ and all credit to you for taking action for yourself.
I also have completed 24 weeks of crazy Chinatown rat poison and awaiting the 12 weeks post treatment test on 4th july, my own private independence day from the alien.
My thinking is even if you are waiting another 6 months to get pbs its still 6 months more of rotten damage to an already battered liver... why wait.! Congratulations Jill
Geno1a 35years fibrosis 2 or 3 different results from different hospitals ??
24weeks mesochem sof/led as unsure of fibrosis status.
currently UND. No bad side effects
Have svr12 ... waiting for svr 24
I now have SVR 36 weeks.

Looks like there's a few of us that received our Chinese Misochem Sof led around the same time.
I completed my 24 week treatment 11 weeks ago.
Can't wait to have my SVR 12 blood test.
I'm hoping to join the ranks of "CURED"

Or do what I did and tell them you are going on the fixhepc site and getting generics. :ohmy:
They may bump you up the queue. Worst case scenario you can make good on your promise and get cured.

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND

Thank you folks, for your kind sentiments, I appreciate it.

And, Mike, you're quite right, credit goes to Dr Freeman. Even though I am not a patient of Dr Freeman, it was his example in treating patients, and Greg Jefferys example in treating himself, that finally gave me the confidence to send $5,500AUD to the heathen Chinee (prices have dropped since then).

Although, in fact, the results were fairly magical, within the first week I stopped shitting blood - always a good sign - and the LFTs at 4 weeks clearly showed I was getting all better. After that, it was easy.

2015 - failed treatment with simeprevir+inteferon+ribavirin
23 Sep 2015 started 24 weeks treatment with Mesochem's sofosbuvir+ledipasvir
