Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND

Diagnosed Jan 2015: GT3, A0+F0/F1. Fatigue + Brain-Fog.
Started Sof+Dac from fixHepC 10-Nov-2015. NO sides.
Pre-Tx: AST 82, ALT 133, Viral Load 1 900 000.
Week4: AST 47, ALT 58. VL < 15 (unquantifiable). Week12 (EOT): AST 30, ALT 26, VL UND Week16 (EOT+4): AST 32, ALT 28, GGT 24, VL UND Week28 (EOT+16): AST 26, ALT 22, GGT 24, VL UND Ever grateful to Dr James. Relapsed somewhere after all that... Bummer! Jan 2018: VL 63 000 (still GT3).

Looking at their site it seems you can just fill in a form and order the meds. Is that right?

It was one of the names I suggested back in October last year when I was asking companies in Bangladesh take advantage of their ability to produce it, but the notion of Sofosbuvir+Daclatasvir as the single pill pangenotypic cure for the world belongs to Dr Andrew Hill.

Both Beacon (Darvoni) and Incepta (Corevigen) had the foresight to produce this product and it would be great to see it widely deployed.

If the product is not licenced does that mean you dont need a prescription to import drugs to Australia. Cost is reasonable.

I paid $ 2700 usd for 12 months supply from Natco India so not having to fly over and get 48 weeks for $ 2800 usd seems ok.

The prescription requirement in most countries relates to the fact that possession of a scheduled prescription only medicine is an offence without a prescription. So if you look at Australia it’s legal to bring it in, but you become a felon taking possession (without a prescription).

In New Zealand transiting customs requires that a local NZ prescription exists so the rules vary from country to country.

So I can import it into Australia as long as I have an Australian prescription.

I just thought when it said Darvoni wasn’t licenced it would be legal in Australia without one.

Customs told me that with the sof / dac I only needed any Doctors Script as I thought I needed a Specialist. I ended up getting a Specialist to write it and they put on it to take 2 morning and night and the Liver Surgeon in India had no problems getting that amount through him for me. It was ordered 11am and delivered to my hotel at 7pm that night by the rep.

It looks like I better check customs again as 2 different times I was told the above.

There are no DAAs where the prescription is take 2 in the morning and 2 at night other than Ribavirin where that would make sense.

What genotype are you, level of fibrosis, and what have you been prescribed?

Sorry Doc I think I better stop posting as I dont seem to make sense.

I only take 1 per day and my Doc/ Spec just wrote the script so i could get 12 months supply as the majority of custom officers wouldn’t really know the real dose.

Not 100% on what fibrosis etc as I get confused with the number and will check it.

They told me I am hep c genotype 1a Cirrosis.

Pretty easy mob Darvoni to get answers from as emailed them yesterday and answers within 5 min all good.

Just need an australian script to get it through customs legally.

Md Shahariar Tamal Selim gave me the email address of someone who supposedly got the Darvoni in the USA. I emailed but am not sure if he was saying that he actually got the drug? Very vague response. Not too helpful. One does need a prescription in the USA. Does anyone know of a real world success?
