Hello G3s,
I haven’t posted in a long while but wanted to update my treatment and results. I was able, through the help of Greg Jefferys, get a 24 week supply of compounded Sof/Dac to which I will be forever grateful. I am borderline F3 and had a baseline VL of 10,800,000. I have been infected for 45 years. I have relapsed 2 times in the past on Int/Riba based treatments. Last week I went and got my 12th week blood work done at the Walk In Clinic, The results are in, VL was UND and my liver ALT and AST were well into the normal range! I am so very happy but I am not dancing in the street just yet. I still have another 11 weeks to go for the EOT and then the 12 week post treatment bloods. Thats said I feel more positive this time around then I have in any of my previous treatments.

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND

Thanks oh I did a few zippity-doo-da’s around the place for sure! Everyone who gets their first UND I am sure knows the feeling…..No matter how positive you are, when things in the past have gone the opposite way there is always that little grain of doubt in the far reaches of your mind. So when things do go right the surge of elation is tremendous.

Many congrats on your great news!!

G1a dx’d in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. Tried tx with Interferon/Riba, back in 2008 didn’t last long it felt horribly ugly!! I stopped tx, after 5 weeks!!
Started tx 6/1/16 with Harvoni.
