Hi Mike

Thanks for the pics nothing like having an image to understand how simple this is. Way better than the multi-capsule contraptions that are available on line which have you spreading the powder across many capsule, which is a bit messy.. sure you can only do one at a time but it looks as though it should take about 5 minutes to pack your daily dose if you didn't want to encapsulate the lot. Obviously you would use \electronic scales to get exact weight. Em

Hi Everyone

So scales like the attached would be suitable Mike and others who have gone down this path?

So, as long as they measure down to 0.01 which is below the weight of sofosbuvir and if my quick calculations are correct it will accurately measure the smaller doses of ledipasvir and daclatasvir. ?? Em

PS: These were on ebay for about $20 AUS

These scales would show 400 mg of, say, Sofosbuvir as: .400g
They show 90 mg as: .090g

They are precise and need to be tared(a push of a button) to compensate in gravity fluctuation due to the moon's position.
Doubt that would make much difference.

Yes!
Amazing and $25.
The little weighing tub is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Couple that with the Profunnel, and you are off the the races!

Do the scales come with calibration weights to check the zero? Only asking as the only digital scales I own are pretty damn sensitive and tend to get very fluctuating readings if not "warmed up" for a few hours before use, and kept away from electronic fields (such as mobile phones etc) Spirit level to get absolute stability etc.

Then again, we are talking about medicinal gram weights here, not grains and all points in between. As you were guys, just thinking off the top of my head :)

huhmn, I'm not using a funnel, couldn't find any overhere...sofosbuvir is more difficult to get in the caps, has another structure then daclatasvir for example...i'm using this capsule-holder,...and get the powder in manually...but nice you have it...

Hi Life,
I would assume Torpac would ship anywhere.
Yes, the 400 mg of sof needs to be tamped down firmly to fit in the 00 cap. That is what I like about this funnel system-nothing can "escape" during the tamping process.

Yes, I've been having a problem with this aswell...I wait about 5 minutes, and try to "equilibre" them...playing...At first I was very insecure about my 230 eu Kern...because, it's true we are talking bout meds here...so hopefully I'm doing the right thing everyday!

I think you are fine. I always weigh out 28 doses in bulk and have ended up right on the money each time.
