Beaches, it definitely didn't taste like any lolly that I have ever eaten. It worked however ... I doubt that it was from a placebo effect.
But more seriously, I do take your point ... the fresh ingredient of anything is better than something manufactured.
Next time I will try your ginger & mint drink (mint grows wild in my garden).
For a ginger hater, however, Dr James' apple juice, celery and ginger sounds pretty good.

P.S. Just looked on the back of the Buderim Ginger pack ... 86% sugar ... so, it probably was a placebo sugar pill ... but, a palatable one for a ginger hater.
