Hi
New here and will tell my story to date.
Was in a trial in 2010 at the very beginning of DAA trials.
Am a GT 1a and did trial of
Daclatasvir/peg/riba. As we have come to learn 8 yrs. later this was sup-optimal and I relapsed.
Unfortunately, ended up with quite a nasty Ns5a linked resistant mutation of H58d/Q30r
I am being tx. By Doc Feld(whom I have seen mentioned here) from CCO articles.
We waited until now for triple(vosevi) because of said resistance profile.
I am treating aggressively for 16 Wks(instead of the 12) and he added Riba from get go.
I am at week 7. VL at wk. 4 was Llod 15 and will test again at Wk 8.
After 41 yrs. infected fortunately still f2, however really want to get rid of this

Just posted this in case anyone else on vosevi or mav and wanted to weigh in.

G1a dx'd in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. Tried tx with Interferon/Riba, back in 2008 didn't last long it felt horribly ugly!! I stopped tx, after 5 weeks!!
Started tx 6/1/16 with Harvoni.

Hi Songbird,

Wishing you well after such a wait for the right treatment.

I was lucky that my treatment was post the peg era but I did have a lengthy treatment regime due to a relapse. I had the Viekira pak, sof and ribavirin the second time around. The riba gave me a few more side effects but well worth it for the successful outcome.

Commenced tx 12/11/15. 9 wk: VL <15 Detected but LFT = Normal 12 week results: UND (Yay!) Due to slow response commenced Sof/Dac 4 Feb for 12 weeks. EOT @ 24 weeks 27 April 2016. (With thanks to Dr Freeman et al). SVR11 result: VL 1,950,000. It's back!
New tx 030916 (Viekira Pak, Solvadi, Ribavirin UND @ 111116. EOT 170217.

Just finishing 12 weeks of Vosevi(Wed.11th). VL : Und.

Starting 4 weeks of Qurevo(Partaprivir/ritonivir/Ombitasvir) Plus Sof/Riba.

Feeling good and remaining hopeful.
