Not my specialist.
I have already started I am day 24 on Sof/Dac. I do not have another appointment at the clinic until Feb and and not sure when & if I will get fibroscan. I asked my GP for a script and he said not until he spoke to my specialist, so I gave him a month and went back and he said specialist had said no wait, and proceeded to try to talk me out of doing it. I just said that I would book in with Doc Freeman if he would not write script and he relented. He wrote script for Sof/Riba and said he would monitor me. He would not write script for Dac as he could not find it in his list. So I saw Doc Freeman and now just doing Sof/dac 24 weeks with Riba maybe in second 12 weeks.
I will go for first blood test next Wed/Thurs and also ask for a hepascore to try to work out fibrosis/cirrhosis levels.
