    Here is why our activism is so important.

    Bernie Sanders writes this article, more than a year after he brought this legislation forward with Elijah Cummings. It went nowhere.

    Will anything ever happen? Very doubtful. It sounds like it’s just these two against Goliath.

    Hi fitz,

    I think any comments posted to the article are great! Alert people about generics.

    I’m simply pointing out the Sanders legislation has gone nowhere. I’m not calling him corrupt, but if he and Elijah are the only supporters of the legislation, it’s DOA.

    Politicians don’t solve our problems for us. They only do what is right if it benefits them personally, or if the pressure to do so becomes too great to resist.

    The positive work we are doing here is what applies pressure on the system to change. Let’s keep doing what we’re doing. :+1:
