Is HepB Vaccination okay during Harvoni treatment?

Today marks 14 days of Harvoni. So far it’s been relatively easy

Probably had HCV since mid-1970s, Diagnosed HCV 2/2018, ALT:124 AST:83, GT:1b, Liver Ultrasound: Normal, Fibrosure: 0.68 or high end of F3, VL: 13,896,061, Started tx 4/9/18 w/Harvoni for 12 weeks. Scared but committed

I had my 1st dose of HepB vaccination 4 weeks ago & 2nd is due this week. Is it okay to have this while on Harvoni or better to wait until after SVR?

Hello Christine123,

You should follow the schedule and have it now. It will not impact on the treatment and the treatment will not impact on the vaccine.
