Hi, sorry I have not been on recently, have said my congrats to LG in a reply text
Have had some pretty high blood pressure readings recently which reached a scary peak over the weekend. Luckily a wonderful monkmed doctor guided me to the right course of action and everything has settled now. Switching my bp meds mid treatment did NOT work well for me!However, now for the good news, bloods taken at 16 days in, I now have the results for and…………everything in normal range, alt 19 and VL <15 !
So another 9 weeks should make sure the little blighters are gone for good!
My dry eyes are fine now, no more drops needed! Energy levels back. I hardly dare say this but my hair seems better. Has not done the big "shed" yet even though I stopped the nourkrin way before tx. However not counting my chickens on that front yet.
So Thankyou one and all. Without Fix hep C I would still be languishing, warehoused, waiting to get iller before I could get treatment.
And that would have been with 8 weeks and ribavirin.Another Thankyou added on top of Dr Fs big pile of thankyous and Monkmed are the most wonderful people.
And please people, if you have concerns over your blood pressure, please remember to regularly check it and don't let it get too high.
All the best to everyone, glad you are all doing so well!

5 February 2016 at 5:45 pm #11265Thankyou Greedfighter, and all the best for your treatment also! Yes the nurse said just particles left now.
Thanks Chejai also, sorry about your hair loss. In answer to your question mine was a pre tx thing, but I’m not counting any chickens that it’s stopped yet, it could start again. I took nourkrin before tx which helped a lot but ditched it in preparation for tx. However I do still take the B vitamin complex. Do you take the B12? I hope it resolves itself, all the best to you,
All the best to everyone,
