My GI doc told me that the insurance co would probably only approve sof/riba for GT2b since that is what is still recommended here in the US. I told him that I did not want to take riba unless absolutely necessary and that I wanted to take sof/dac. He agreed we could do the sof/dac but I would have to show some significant liver damage for the insurance to approve. Well I didn’t show any liver damage and my liver labs were normal and VL was low. So of course my insurance denied me 2X in less than a month. I had already found this wonderful place and the rest is history. UND at 4wks and just finishing up my 5th week. So glad I did not have to do the riba
