Always take a good look at what you’re about to eat.
It’s not so important to know what it is,
but it’s critical to know what it was.

Banksy?7 March 2016 at 12:39 am #13440This isn’t a quote. It is an email my 84 year old mom sent me she got from one of her 90 year old domino buddies. Now you can better understand why I am the way I am- its a genetic thing…
Recently a routine police patrol parked outside a bar in Miles City, MT. After last call, the officer noticed a man leaving the bar apparently so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity in which he tried his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car and fall into it.
He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off–it was a fine, dry summer night–, flicked the blinkers on and off a couple oftimes, honked the horn and then switched on the lights.
He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little and then remained still for a few more minutes as some more of the other patrons’ vehicles left.
At last, when his was the only car left in the parking lot, he pulled out and drove slowly down the road.
The police officer, having waited patiently all this time, now started up his patrol car, put on the flashing lights, promptly pulled the man over and administered a breathalyzer test.
To his amazement, the breathalyzer indicated no evidence that the man had consumed any alcohol at all.
Dumbfounded, the officer said,”I’ll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer equipment must be broken.
“I doubt it,” said the truly proud Redneck. “Tonight I’m the designated decoy.”

Don’t know who said it.
31 March 2016 at 4:28 am #14670Do you know the difference between a good landing and a great landing?
A good landing is any landing you can walk away from
A great landing is when you can use the aeroplane for its intended purpose again….

31 March 2016 at 4:30 am #14671And continuing the aviation theme, what are the 3 most useless things to a pilot:
- Runway behind
- Altitude above
- Fuel in the truck
And of course the classic: “The only time you have too much fuel in an aeroplane is when you’re on fire”
YMMV
31 March 2016 at 4:33 am #14672As a pilot only two bad things can happen to you and one of them will.
- One day you will walk out to the aircraft knowing that it is your last flight in an aeroplane
- One day you will walk out to the airplane not knowing that it is your last flight in an aeroplane
YMMV
