Hi AA, Congrats on starting Tx! I started Spf/Dac too, on Wednesday. I’ve been having a ‘speedy’ sensation and then ‘crashing’, intense sweating, very emotional moodswings – feel happy and joyful/crying and ‘grieving’; had 2 great nights of sleep but the snapping awake suddenly is there, I’m doing so much more during the day that i’ve been utterly trashed at night and feel asleep easily and slept solid for past 2 nights.
Good Luck and look forward to hearing about how your experiencing your Tx.

Well I am similar to Chejai re sweats and my hearts pounding today so taking it easy but that’s kinda it as far as sx
Bit of a headache drinking heaps of water
This is very manageable compared to that ol devil Peg/Inf I just gotta get used to this pounding heart it is worst today may well be normal by tomorrow seems to come and go
Good wishes to you and happy travels we can only go forward from here16 January 2016 at 2:37 pm #9436Hi AA and welcome!
You are very courageous. Two times on IFN means something.
I was so frightened of IFN, so I refused it in 2012.
But the new medicines DAA are amaizing. They are efficient with almost no sides.
Good luck and let us know of your journey!

20 January 2016 at 1:06 am #9851Now that’s the good oil James these bangin headaches can be rather mood making, yes too true this is nothing like that vile black hole some of us were plunged into and to do it twice AA or like Em to go through 60+ weeks woah ick:' />
I made a little movie of my peg/inf trip and I watched it yesterday to remind me of just how much easier this is
Not Gen3 here but Gen1a
However that said, the point is only a few watchable, personal manageable sx compared to being in hospital on tube feed etc well you just can’t complain about this magic
Thanks James and team29 January 2016 at 6:41 am #10705Just past the 2 week mark only 22 to go and all going well a bit tired sometimes and a bit of a head ache now and then but other than that all good,I just hope this stuff is working and doing it’s job, blood test in another few weeks so time will tell suppose.

I’m hanging out to get my bloods done too
Relapsers we have this little in one ear I think
But I have faith in this stuff
Migraine would describe my head but the initial night sweats have gone
Day 18 here and I noticed that this week my moods are not as stable as they were at the start
I’m sure when we get our bloods done that a massive relief will come
Wishing you a restful weekend
Ariel29 January 2016 at 11:43 am #10714Yeh thanks Ariel,I have faith init as well it’s just some of the demons of treatment past that keeps coming into my thoughts ,I’m on day 16 and look forward to the last day and hopefully a clean bill of health ,Ya never know if ya don’t give it a go
All the best to you as well,

Once you see your 4 week results many of the demons will lose their powers, and then things just improve week to week. While I still have very occasional moments of doubt, at 10 weeks there is more confidence than ever felt during prior Tx. I can just sense my body winning the fight and regaining health, as you will!

1 February 2016 at 7:19 am #10886Hi Gaj,
Thanks for the encouraging words,I’m more interested in the 24 week results rather than the 4 week but if the 4 week are good that’s great and a positive step in the right direction, not getting hopes up too much but staying positive that this 3 rd attempt will work ,I was very disappointed shattered actually when the last 2 attempts didn’t work so just not building hopes too high this time so I’m not mentally shattered if it doesn’t.
I will win this fight eventually,I’m very stubborn and don’t like to be beaten and I WILL NOT let this virus beat me If You Don’t Fight You Lose
