I found hens teeth, and and a ewe with balls..

but I can’t seem to find any way to order a Genotype test .. online..
How and where do you order such a thing?

Quest and Labcorp don’t seem to have any way to order this test. You can get all the others no problem
Please post links, phone numbers, whatever..

how the hell did you other people do it?

    Hi Hugh,

The problem will be that this is a PCR test and the blood either needs to be processed quickly or frozen.

Here’s Labcorp’s details on the test:

    YMMV

Based on your familiarity with those two labs, I assume you’re aware of this site, but there’s a phone number to call if you want a test not on their list.
(I used their service for my 12 week EOT)
    (888) 732-2348

    http://requestatest.com/

However, if you’re willing to pay for a test out of pocket, have you tried simply going to a walk-in clinic and asking to have the test done?

Understand, for an insurance company to pay for the test they’ll likely require a specialist’s signature … but if you’re paying yourself, the lab shouldn’t care who ordered the test.

Cinch in Idaho does it but I can also order through Link2labs. It asks you your location and you can see if they support your locations that you can go to. I travel 2 hrs. to go to Washington to get my tests. Link2labs is online and is the cheapest so far for many other tests but Cinch was the cheapest I found on line to order your genotype. Look at online labs but make sure they are reputable.

I found if I checked with the labs themselves, they were not knowledgeable. All they know is that if they receive a requisition from a site that they draw the blood. That is why you have to go online to order the tests yourself, pay for it onsite and take the requisition with you. I did not have a requisition but ordered mine online and they printed it for me. I am not sure how nice other labs would be. Some are not people oriented.. I would not go to Quest Diagnostics or labCorp or other. Go to websites that use these labs and order your tests. I know it sounds confusing but I learned this after a lot of searching and feeling confident that these online labs that you pay for really do work. I have used Link2labs, RequestATest and Cinch. You can check these websites and see which ones are cheapest.

I had to get my internal medicine DR at UCSF to order it and paid labcorp (Roseberg) something $600 or more. Very pricey.

Don’t forget that Dr. James Freeman or Dr. Devsam can order these tests for you, and also prescribe the HCV medication. Their website is http://www.GP2U.com. Listen to the advice from Dr. James Freeman. He is the leading expert in the world on generic Hepatitis C treatment. This is the man who will lead you to a cure.

I believe they have link2labs locations in your area. They do here in Idaho. Go to link2labs and you will put in your location. It will show all places that you can go in Oregon. The one nearest me was not that far away to drive. You order and pay online and just show up at the office. Link2labs is really easy. If you have questions just call them. You do not need a doctor to order them unless you need advice and help. Dr. Freeman is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Either way you can get it.

That is a huge rip-off. Dr. Freeman put the link below. So much cheaper. You order yourself and results are sent to you.
