Long read of the VA hardcopy! The US VA recommendations was 104 pages to read!!
Testing, screening, many tx options listed etc.
Riba is on the lists yes, and the table clearly shows some cohorts are recommended to take riba and yes increase the dose see inserted tables.
I always research citations because I like to lobby seeings as the illness affects so many countries.
I hope that all people who are HCV infected everywhere no matter how can access testing treatment and support

This is the US VA pdf I have now read which includes the information that has been summarised by the other member.
I’m including a screenshot or two of tx protocols as mentioned in the thread earlier. Ariel

Beaches, all I can add, is to make sure you’ve treated yourself with the best appropriate DAA’s for your genotype, fibrosis & past treatment history.
Once you’ve done that, “CROSS YOUR FINGERS”
Like us all on here, hope & pray for the UNDETECTED SVR 12 & 24.

    I wasn’t planning on doing SVR24
    Is this necessary?
I was told SVR12 is it by my hospital
My GP and I will follow the protocol suggested here
I’m sorry to hijack your thread here Beaches but I noted this issue and I think others may also want to know the best lab protocols for us going forward
Ty for bringing this up Michael
So please can I have feedback re doing a test for SVR24

    Good morning from Ariel here
I have just read your updates Michael and wish you SVR12 to come through and for your body to get rid of the CLL asap. I am sad for you that you will have more meds to take your profile shows us you have been through a lot already.
So I send you wishes for SVR12 and a strong response against this CLL that’s now another bump in your personal road to wellness
Hugs for a good outcome and splashes of freshness from Ariel

Hi Mike welcome home from Vampire heaven. I agree with Beaches, its a legal smegal. Hence an earlier frustrated Ariel who said she was upset about how hard it is to help others on a different thread. This is exactly what I meant, even philanthropy by pretty much anyone is likely to be blocked by legal issues. We have to ensure all patients and helpers are acting legally and that means it’s hard for an individual to help like your kind offer.
It’s hard but your intentions are beautiful Mike #flower #flower #flower

    Loved that Matt ty #flower :+1: #duck #flower

I’m fixed now (so thankful for tx) but it’s a tiring business is HepC and I don’t think anyone who’s put up with it for however long will argue that one! So this is for those really worn out days people have during this thing, because we all have them no matter what stage of the ride we are on.

We mermaids swim in schools Mike
Beaches is on the surface checking the ocean floor for predator and treasure alike, with wisdom of an ol nylon cosie and pink headwear to show her secret mermaid status (this is secret inside knowledge of Mermaid culture I share)
I’m the young frother one who plays on the surface all the time catching waves and pearls as I ride, but I wipeout too and have guzzled a lot of salt water <img style=illy:' /> PS I wear black to show my younger status lol
That ocean swim at Beaches location is no picnic the wave at the north end there is notorious for heavy hold downs don’t wipe out! I have there.
I hope I have cleared up this debate on the purity and salty water of our pair of beautiful mermaid livers hee hee
    A watery “tail” at ya!
So flippin happy for you sister mermaid

    Thanks so much Sven
It’s a leap of faith to take on more treatments indeed, and some are still fighting now, never giving up is the key we all hope for our cure. I’m so blessed.
FixHC tx is so great, anyone can access treatment and help with appointments and advice via Hobart by email for no matter what stage or genotype or issues and feel safe and in professional empathtic hands. Wishing you well on your treatment Sven it’s wonderful what magic is out there now
    Happies from Ariel #flower
