These links are excellent, thanks heaps buddy. I cant do garlic since peginf, or asparagus actually, but can do onions….it has made me intolerant to tomatoes as well isn’t that weird!
I was just chatting with another member here about the joys of two nights following a faint whiff of garlic sauce I suspect in a wrap I ate last week…but….I did but Nilstat drops early today and I have now done two washes as directed of a mil each and my tongue is starting already to look pink not white. Yep it was thrush like a baby gets!
Being that rationalising type that I am, I rekn if my liver is going t behave like a baby (ha, bragging here ALT <9) well my big mouth obviously wants to join in and behave like a baby too. The last time I bought these drops was during breastfeeding days many moons ago and were for my baby. The cherry taste is not exactly a fine wine..

Re Garlic, I hope Mgalbrai has a clove around his neck whilst on hols in Transylvania mwahahahahahahaha

Well listening to Chris reduced me to tears. It is so raw, not just the juice he is making.
There is a pathos about this whole thing like he says it is a subculture. Yes this made me very emotional. I think that last little downer bit has to be popped in for the networks ass to be covered, that’s all.
Ariel, BIG huge thanks for this share. #flower #flower #flower

Gone Going, Jack Johnson. :+1: :+1: :+1: Yeah that surfer chick is bangin on about surf stuff again….but wait there’s more this has very cool lyrics……Can’t help thinking about that apartment that just sold in NYC for 25 mil, about the forthcoming elections here there and everywhere…about the strange fantasy everything Kardishconsumian…about Greeediad…(Ty Mike for that name it has a certain ring to it)

Well look at all those fancy clothes
But these could keep us warm
    Just like those.
    And what about your soul
    Is it cold
Is it straight from the mould
    And ready to be sold.

And cars and phones and diamond rings
    Bling, bling
    Those are only removable things
    And what about your mind
    Does it shine or
Are there things that concern you more
    Than your time

    Gone going
    Gone everything
    Gone give a damn
Gone be the birds when they don’t want to sing
    Gone people
    All awkward with their things
    Gone

Look at you out to make a deal
You try to be appealing but you lose your appeal
And what about those shoes you’re in today
    They’ll do no good
On the bridges you burnt along the way

    You’re willing to sell anything
    Gone with your herd
    Leave your footprints
And well shame them with our words

    Gone people
    All careless and consumed
    Gone
    Gone going
    Gone everything
    Gone give a damn
Gone be the birds if they don’t want to sing
    Gone people
    All awkward with their things
    Gone

    Hi there LG
that’s not so much wandering off topic but providing awesome news! F0 they call those numbers in this country I know, I had 5.6 and they call it F0.
You are fortunate that you get a description of the procedure I haven’t had that happen eg lobes etc. I just get the cold wand pushed into my side and that’s it no talkies
You must be almost done with your marathon
You’ve championed this for the UK with your blogging and faith
Only the best for you now bring on your EOT (is it next week?) and future SVRs
Congrats on those fine liver Kpa’s
I want another now after reading this! Doubt that I will get offered one being so okay going in but I would like just to see if there’s a change :)

Thankyou all for your awesome kindness to me #flower
Being part of the FixHepC family is a privilege #love
It’s more than SVR8 and my forthcoming SVR12 (flippers crossed); here, there are people who have been there since my crappy peginf riba, during my re-emerging from surgeries and illness from that disasters legacy and who led me to this safe place, there are new friends with similar stories, new friends who are tx naive and full of loving kindness to me and to all peginf relapsers and really let me know how much they’re backing me this time. There are friends who make me laugh, friends I have now met for coffees, who have enriched my life with their own story of surviving and fighting. There are other mums who relate to the worrying about our grown up children after what’s been in our lives, there are dads trying to hold it together during tx, there are friends who even knew some of the same crowd from younger times. There’s a voice on the end of the phone “hello you have rung FixHepC….”
Into ten weeks since EOT and I am very thankful indeed for this and all the support in research here in discussion on sx etc and all these excellent resources for lobbying and personal help and for my GP too.
    Have a great day
    Ariel :)

    Thanks heaps GT2
I eat Tamar Valley, Chobani and cocoyo which is the coconut base one (my cholesterols are good)
    Also one made locally
I’m living in a small rural coastal community and our local stores carry purer product which reflects the communities demands. I’m thinking of using manuca honey too, and there’s a few apiaries nearby.
My fave youghurt is the chobani brand I wonder what the good bacteria is like in that brand.
I will click the link and see if my brands are there too
    Ty
    Cheers

    Hi Beaches
I guess James needs to green light a petition really in case we in doing a petition are accidentally shining a spotlight where it’s not wanted at the mo
Just a thought about his personal GP practice
Hoping this week flies by for you xx last week! Yay

    Hi GT2
It wasn’t always this easy. I wasn’t happy for a good while but stuck.
Fortunately I discovered a great GP at my old practice when my old regular GP went on maternity leave, and just coincidentally he started his own practice leaving the old place just around the time I ordered my meds. He also provides pathology inhouse as well as lots of allied health even an audiologist onsite.
He is youngish, caring and has respect for my residual problems re peginf riba and is supportive. He is keen to get people treated who have the virus with DAAs. His staff are kind. The receptionist is happy and polite. I can even book online.
Yes it’s definitely quite a find.
    I’m sticking with him.
So many people have followed him to his own practice why, because of his excellent duty of care and the extra time he takes.
When I was around week 4 of DAAs I sacked my hospital path and had all my path done privately at the GP. He spent time ringing labs to ensure we had the best assay and PCR tests for me. I really am so very thankful he has gone through this with me.

As an aside did you see James post about thrush, I am certain that is what’s going on with my mouth and will pop by my GP for a quick consult and show him the research here.

    Cheers from Ariel

    Thanks James
Wondering if it was thrush in my gums and inside of mouth; hasn’t gone away since tx.
I will get onto some Nilstat drops. No wonder youghurt soothes my sore mouth and flossing and brushing only aggravate

That cartoon is fab.. Lucky for me my private GP and I took time in our consults to do our ‘research ‘ together…and won. I was his first generics DAA patient it has been fantastic. he always had other junior docs sitting in on consults too, at my approval and delight. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:
