Do you have any idea of a target number, its certainly going to be tens of thousand of people. Good luck. I prefer to put my energy and money into bigger outcomes.
Hi Bloot you might want to get viral load done at about 8 weeks cause if you count is less than <12 then they are saying there is no need to go much further with treatment. But 24 weeks is what I am doing. Better safe than sorry. Hopefully there are no harmful effects after prolonged use. Maybe the Dr can answer that. My feeling is the jury is still out. kindly
Melanie Eagle from Hep Vic sent out letter saying no December listing on PBS. And about Dr media coverage of compassionate supply.
Good that’s fine, But I would like something official, hard hitting to work a personalised appeal with. I hope newspaper appeal will work. It will affect the government, but generally news is over in a couple days unless the media decide there’s a decent story. Keep in mind its Christmas, current affairs are on holiday. Either very charitable time or party time. Its just a suggestion.
How about writing an official letter so that people can email it, facebook it etc. Crowdfunding is hard, you have to keep at it. The wider the search for donations, then better the results. Cheers
Also Dr I really think you should approach Micro finance charities for interest free loans It will reach a wider section, those that cannot afford the full cost up front but are able to repay the loan over a fixed time. People who are uncomfortable with full support will have an option. These micro finance companies are already cashed up. I have approached the Good Shephard, (who started this scheme)but haven’t received a reply. Maybe they think I am trying to scam them. Can’t you see what you can do? They can only refuse you eg its beyond our funding scope- we supply funding for necessities like white goods, car repairs etc
That’s great news. Very worthy and necessary. I wonder if Helen Tyrell and the like will support this initiative.
Same here Chester and so are my friends. Our great contribution to mankind. As long as the body isn’t sold onto commercial interests.
Hi there my friend uses daclatasvir Di HCI – is that within a high grade standard. Also, do you know if Bristol Myer Squibb’s daclatasvir bitter or non bitter if chewed accidently. Cheers.
Its not unknown to people using this forum that weeks ago I was actively seeking out pathways. My feeling is the oligarchy exercised poor judgement so it really hasn’t got very far. What would be good if interested parties were on board in the advent of poor government response then financial access to medicine was available.
This is great that you are all starting to talk about helping people who genuinely can’t afford it. I think you should approach an already established not for profit. Speedy implementation is of the essence. I think Australians should get first preference. As regard to marketing for funds, how about first point of call -doctors. I have approached a couple of groups but I am not hopeful, still waiting for a reply to” just an idea”. But with the groups impeccable credentials you may have more success. It would be even better with the support of the Hep organisations. Put pressure on them. There would have been no Hep organisations if it wasn’t for the old timer heppers. I think they forget this with their growth of ego. I remember the very first meeting at Fairfield infectious diseases hospital. But you will get a better idea of urgent needs once the government makes a discussions.
Leunig lives close to clifton hill and many a time we wait at the lights. i try to discreetly purve on the fine mind and ignore at the same time- just another clifton hill dude.
I will just have to keep reading scientific papers. Like I said a hell of a lot of iron. I cup of kale = about 15% dietary requirement. kindly
