I used to go on there a lot, back when I went on an oral trial, way back before any other all oral trials bagan.
It was a Roche trial with 4 orals.

The people there were so encouraging & kind to me.Excited that I was trying orals. Getting in on a trial.

I wondered why I never heard back from Joy when I sent her a PM recently, after my son had got the generics.
I asked her if anyone on there had accessed the orals, & that there was a way to do this…

Obviously they don’t want the help.I heard “nothing”
Sad, as some on there desperately need them.

Finding this forum is the best thing I’ve ever done, today’s the happiest day of my life finding out they are working on J.

Some people are just set in their ways I guess, .. or stupid? they are definitely anti generic on that forum.

Wow Bloot, what a story. I can relate a little to that, but not as severe as you. hmy:

The hangovers I used to get were always worse than my other friends were, ..now I know why,
yeah, having the virus ( when you find out you have it) can make you more aware of trying to get healthier, I also am a much more clean living person now.
Eat well, don’t drink anymore, exercise & look after myself.
I actually don’t miss the alcohol, Funny that, as I always wanted a drink every night & would party on weekends with the alcohol.

I get a pulsing thing going on pre-tx, mid centre rib-cage. It’s like another heartbeat.
This is worse when I go to bed the minute I lie down and U.S. accompanied by a ‘weak’ sensation generally as if I may faint, hard to describe. I have told two Drs and they just ignore it.

That’s strange London Girl, I’ve also experienced that or something similar that no doc can explain, , it is hard to explain anyway.
I feel like the heart starts kind of racing & I feel weak & need to cough or something….? it sort of “thumps” all over chest.
Once I tried to explain this to a doc & they sat me down & made me inhale ventilin, but this did nothing.

I always have quite low blood pressure & exercise regularly, so don’t know what it can be??

Hi Dan,

I found Aveeno wash & Aveeno body moisturiser really good at helping to stop Riba rash when on Ifn + Ribavirin, so maybe that could help? You can just get now at supermarkets.

Also there’s a good cream called Caroline’s cream, for bad itchy skin, made by a mother whose child was covered in rashes & itchy skin, & she could find nothing that worked, this one is meant to really work. ( get it at chemists)
