Fantastic news Sven. Merry Christmas indeed! There is no better gift
Another Attempt – that is such good news! I am so happy that you have continued to fight this, despite the set backs and that you have finally won. You deserve to have the happiest of Christmases and what a great way to see in the New Year .
Ariel and LG – thanks so much for your messages. What courageous, gorgeous women you are .
Thanks for your kind thoughts Beaches, Fara, Fitz and Murr. It means a lot.
Splitdog – thanks – you’re on my watch list!
Greedfighter – thanks. I know, Dr Freeman is quite extraordinary. It’s hard to know quite how to reward someone who gives you your life back.L_R – yes unfortunately I was one of the small percentage of people that relapsed (after 12 weeks of Sof/Led followed by 12 weeks of Sof/Dac) so I’ve got some tough critters. The new treatment is going well and you’ve reminded me that it’s about time I wrote a post and updated my bio.
Wow London_R – that is a great result I’m always particularly happy to read about the good news for those of you that suffered through treatment with interferon. Keep hitting that gym.
I’m pleased to hear that things have settled down a bit for you Edge. Yes – fingers and toes are crossed for you. I’ll ditto the advice about keeping hydrated with water. Every so often I get a massive headache on my current treatment and I can always trace it back to not drinking enough water during the day.
Congratulations on reaching SVR24 MtGoat. Another great success story. Enjoy the freedom.
You better believe it Fitz! Aren’t they just the sweetest words!
Thanks for your good vibes – yes I’m three months in all going well so far so I am realistically optimistic.
I’m catching up on all of the good news today. Congratulations on your SVR 4. It’s so good to hear your happiness and relief.
Fara I am so happy to hear your news. It’s Gone Girl! Congratulations!
Catching up with all of the news and yours is fantastic Fitz! You have fought this thing and won. So happy for you and your family.
Hi Ariel,
You have been fighting so hard to overcome the things that life has thrown at you that your exhaustion is understandable. I think many of us are starting to realise the real cost of this disease to our lives over the past decades. You also have the added burden of a failed IFN treatment and the ongoing health consequences of that which just makes my head spin.
You have put out so much support and kindness to others on this site (including me) that I hope you know that we are sending it back to you in buckets and spades. You’re juggling a lot here Ariel so one day at a time but be kind to yourself along the way. We hear you. xx
Great to see those results Wilco. All done!
