    I measured again the ALT at 15 weeks EOT and it is 10.5 (0-55), lower than 7 weeks EOT!

    Hi Tina,

    Wait the result SVR4. In other words wait one month without meds and do the viral load. If, at SVR4, the viral load is increased then retreat with sof/dac.

    I would suggest do the test in another lab too.

    Darbara,

    Thats what i was saying. The standard for Harvoni is <25 at EOT. So you dont need to do VL test anymore.

    Is your doc ignorant? Antibodies of HCV will be there for years. We are interested about viral load in this case.

    <25 is not negative or UND. Anyway , < LLOQ that is the correct measure to the cure. Sonix To have Anti HBs (not Anti HBc) is a good thing that means you are immune. With HepB is a different thing

    The test should have a note about the LLOD or Lowest Level of Detection and LLOQ Lowest Level of Quantification. What are their values?

    For cobas taqman LLOQ = 15

    Negative is the same as Undetected.

    Or maybe his first geno test was wrong. I dont think the genotype test is 100 accurate.

    I dont think his geno mutated but he may have had two geno types (double infections)

    Sof alone can not make someone UND within one week. His log kill is -4.5. Thats why Dr Freeman have tested RVR one week in order to be sure that both APIs are in paly.
