Yes, if your lver is in reasonable shape and provided you stick to moderate!
Success is not impacted.

Hello lanning,
It sounds pretty routine. The way I explain what to expect to patients is like this:
There is a 1 in 5 chance you get headaches and a 1 in 5 chance you get insomnia.
The first week you take the treatment you kill off most of the virus so it feels a bit like just before you get flu, or when you are getting better. You can expect to be a little less well than the week before you started but not really so sick you can’t go to work.
After that, for most people it’s just pop the pills and not a lot to report.
If you get insomnia you will get tired during the treatment.
Just because you are treating don’t forget you can still get every other disease under the sun, so if things don’t seem quite right…
YMMV
Naught to report is not only a snappy rhyme it’s what we like to hear!

Welcome Panthyra,
Your situation is not unusual, and is, in fact, better than some have found. At least you have somebody to monitor you (not that much is actually required).
Both Dr Debasiss and I can be found on https://gp2u.com.au/ and we both write prescriptions for Hep C generics and have been doing it for years so will make sure you get the right treatment for you.
All you need to do is register and book an appointment and that bit is easily sorted.

At times like these there are no words, so I must resort to borrowing those of people far more eloquent than me.
Richard Bach wrote Jonathan Livingston seagull. He also wrote a book called Illusions which contains the quote “Your friends will know you better in the first minute you meet than your acquaintances will know you in a thousand years.”
I first met Guy 3 years ago and we chatted online, via the phone and over Skype. Sadly we never met face to face, and yet, I count him as a treasured friend.
We shared a common ideal best put by Martin Luther King who said “Life’s Most Persistent and Urgent Question Is, “What Are You Doing for Others?” – Guy was a man of substance who not only talked the talk, he walked the walk. When my time comes I hope I can muster half his quiet dignity.
I would like to offer this epitaph from Margaret Mead “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
Guy helped so many people who will never know his name. To do so for no pay or public acclaim speaks to his character. I will miss him greatly.

Hello Vororo,
Sorry to hear the virus is back. Have you checked the genotype again? This should be done.
The rule of thumb for retreatment is longer, stronger, add ribavirin (or a 3rd drug).
Vosevii would be tour preferred option. Mavyret + Generic Sof is the most potent 3 drug combination and what I would give myself in similar circumstances.
Happy to chat. You have my email.
I was in Paris yesterday so you just missed a housecall!

Да, это может снизить уровень содержания в крови препарата, поэтому Эпкуса следует принимать с пищей. Для вас, будучи не поддающимся обнаружению через 2 недели, препарат хорошо впитывается в организм и выполняет необходимую работу.
YMMV

Undetected at 2 weeks is very good.
12 weeks Sof + Vel + Riba should be sufficient for F2 GT1b
24 weeks is waste of money. Even 16 weeks (extra 4 weeks) is probably a waste of money.
I would just stop at 12 weeks.
If you are in ~ 3% who do not get success, retreatment is easy for GT1b so it is not a big problem.
97% chance you save a lot of money.

There was a law proposed in the senate to allow importation of drugs from Canada, but it was defeated.
Yes, that was Bernie Sanders. The basic arguments were:
- We make them here in the USA
- They are cheaper in Canada so why not just bring our drugs back
- We import food from all over the world and people eat the – there is nothing special about medicines…
YMMV
You can use a brand name prescription for generics so either will do fine.
YMMV
Yes, you can.
I prefer lactulose (a non-absorbable sugar) because you can “dial a dose”
10 ml twice a day, 20 ml, or even 30 ml depending on how much help is required. Soft, but not runny is the desired outcome.
I would probably have it separate by an hour or two to the Harvoni just to remove the worry of any interaction. So if you morning dose, have your tablets, then some lactulose at 10 am and then before bed at circa 10 pm.
YMMV
You will be very close to non infectious at this point.
Most people with Hep C have/had their dental work done with Hep C which is why dentists use gloves and sterilise their instruments.
So Hep C, treated, untreated or on treatment is not a reason not to have dental work done.
YMMV
Yes, the sticker price is pretty out there at the same as a couple of family cars.
With any luck you can access fully subsidized treatment, if not, 12 weeks generic Harvoni is $1600 Canadian.
YMMV
I’ve sent an email about making time to catch up again.
YMMV
You sure there is anything in my pills Doc?
Yes, nothing more and nothing less than the correct quantities of some rather nifty medications which do something hard with very few side effects (in most but not all patients).
You’ve ordered the bloods and the results should clarify things for you!
YMMV
