Thank you to all of you for your reply. I really didn’t expect so many of you to write here. Sometime I wish I could turn back time and take a different direction. I was thinking that maybe the medications or the virus it self makes me feel that way or even work as I’m in a very hectic environment which really throws me around a bit like a ping pong especially after Bank of England cut their rates. It makes me worried that it might jepordise my treatment.

Unfortuantely I wouldn’t be a skilled worker but I’m married to an Australian citizen, here I hope that Australian government would look at it differently and that they would recognise our same sex marriage. I love my husband and can not imagine living anywhere else but by his side.

Exactly how I feel. I really feel like I’m part of this nation. Still living in a denial. Hoping I won’t be a hostage in hands of Theresa May hehe
Good luck with the results ! Looking forward to hear the good news !! Fingers crossed
Hi guys!
So it’s been a month now since I started a treatment, had some ups and downs but received a surprise email from my doctor that my results showed negative results for hep C in just 4 weeks. It all seams a little bit too good to be true and I can’t believe it. I still need to finish rest of the treatment, but at least it’s a good start !!

I’ll keep you guys updated. It’s silly how many new little thoughts run through my head today …
Just had my baseline blood tests done today I’ll start taking medication today, excited but anxious at the same time
We are all in a very similar boat and it’s called hope, we will get through the storm
Maybe we need anonymous to teach big pharmas a lesson I really can not believe they wouldn’t make a profit of they priced it reasonably, at the end of the day it’s all about share prices and greed …
Hi Geof, the reason why I’m here is because the medication cost far too much in UK, £38k for a treatment which is only given to patients with cirrhosis on NHS, I’m young, fair enough I’ve done shit choices in my life but I don’t think it’s right that big pharmas charge the ludicrous eye watering price for life saving/ changing meds. I’ve just received my medication from the website if you feel like you need me to tell you about my journey so far I’m happy to do so. I haven’t started taking my meds yet as tomorrow I’m seeing my specialist
That’s how my one looks like. It was really tricky, the doctor at gp2u wanted me to call some number has provided me with to pay on the phone but I’m glad I’ve gone via fixhepc website and monkmed afterwards
Attachments:That makes me more confident thank you for that. I’ll update you guys on Tuesday with what doctor said. Thought it might be useful as not many of you had similar experience as me. Was wondering if I was to post pictures of my meds would you be able to tell me weather or not seal on top of the medication is genuine ?
Yeah I’m taking one of a newer drugs for HIV Triumeq, I doubt many studies have been made about the interactions with hepcivir-l so it seams that I’ll be a little bit of a Guinea pig. I’m so glad that all of you are so helpful. I was so upset when I got diagnosed (month ago) spoke with my doctor but because its not yet chronic infection they wouldn’t be able to give me any medications as they only prescribe them for people with cirrhosis. I’ll definitely keep you all posted! On Tuesday I’ve got meeting with my doctor and probably than I’ll start my medication
