Thanks everyone for your wonderful support. It has really helped me along the journey.
The day after I got the UND news, I caught the flu, probably from my visiting nephew. My frail aged parents also caught it, but have recovered quicker than me. For almost a week I’ve been unable to function, aching all over, persistent dry cough, splitting headaches, stuffed up head, no energy or appetite, body like lead, hot & cold sweats, broken sleep, etc. It has really knocked me for a six.
Could it be that my immune system was more compromised having just fought off HCV?
Good to hear of your progress Sean…may it continue to be sides-free, and UNDETECTED at 4 weeks.
Well they are now promoting the new Hepatitis Queensland Fact Sheet: http://www.hepqld.asn.au/images/resources/factsheets/importing_new_hepatitis_c_medications_in_australia.pdf
And if you follow the link on page 2 http://www.bit.ly/ASHMImport then go to HOW TO ORDER GENERIC DAAs FOR HCV ONLINE you finally come to a link to fixhepc.
There’s still a lot of technical problems being ironed out on that site Em, so try again Monday.
Did you have the same username? There’s no em or emilio on their members list.
O well, I’m glad you’re here. Pity we can’t all work together.
Hi Em,
I have not used that site for over a year but I just logged in successfully. Might be the last time though!
I hope so too Lynne, and it’s highly likely. Now is the time to be a patient patient.
Sorry all, I stand corrected. Didn’t realise you were still in plaster Chester. Good job!
I remember reading on Greg’s blog that Semiprevir is available on it’s own, from the chemist with a script from your doctor. So I dug it out, under Sept. 3:://hepatitisctreatment.homestead.com/hepatitis-c-treatment.html
Perhaps the good doctor could clarify.
Wow that was quick work…
Cracked up at ‘Compassionate Access’
Thank you!
Hello Coral, thanks for sharing, and all the best on your journey to full health and heplessness!
Yes fantastic news Cindi and I wish you and your son all the best during his healing process. You are in very good hands.
It will be a healing process for you too in the end – goodbye guilt, hello life!
And so much misinformation:
Hepatitis C can be contacted sexually, particularly among people who have an HIV infection or STD.
