I’ve been a busy bee swarming all over the internet, posting on every comment board I can. In particular replying to comments from people who disclose they have Hep C, but unlike Pamela Anderson, not the $$$ to pay for treatment.
Have completely blown my cover. But I really believe in what Greg and Dr James are doing.
Gosh there’s a lot of trash out there.
Enkel, take a look under FORUM – FAQ – HOW DO I TAKE THESE GENERIC DAAs
I take mine in evening, and sleep like a baby.
It’s up to you, choose morning or evening and stick to it. All the best with your treatment.
From 19,000,000 to 16 in 2 weeks? Incredible!
Congratulations Paul.Great news Alsdad. Only 12 days of meds to go – the finish line is approaching.
It would make a good story for the British press…
Bloods taken on day 20.
And the result is:
UNDETECTED!!!
WHOOOPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Can’t stop smiling
Yesterday’s news Klhilde, but it will attract a lot of publicity – Pamela Anderson cured of Hep C:

Hi Lynne,
Welcome to the club, how exciting that you’ve made the decision to go ahead. I’m genotype 1b as well, and taking Sof/Dac. Sof/Led is also used for our genotype and from memory has had a larger trial base. More info under ‘Getting Treated’ above – ‘Genotype Specific Requirements’.
All the best with your treatment. Keep us posted.
Sorry to hear about your aches and pains.
I have had the opposite experience on sof/dac – they have virtually disappeared. Hope it continues.
I’ve had general aches and pains in joints and muscles for years, and except for persistent right shoulder pain, had not associated them with liver. Though it was just life, and ageing.
Day 26. For many days now the pain is missing. (But not missed!) Haven’t slept this well for a long long time.
Still feel some stinging/grabbing/pressure in liver. The battle rages on … slowly but surely slaying the dragon.
Thank you again.
I’m now leaving this to the experts and going to count my lucky stars.
Thank you Dr James, I miscalculated, what a relief.
PT=11, don’t know the ISI so will guess INR = 1
Which changes MELD score to 6 (1.9% mortality)
In Feb Creatinine = 37, on day 6 of Tx it was 51 (normal range 45-90).
Does this explain the marked decrease in frequency of urination since starting Tx?
Well that’s a bit scary!!
MELD is 33
= 52.6% estimated 3 month mortality – what does that mean exactly?
Hi Em, no that arrow seemed to have disappeared but I’m using another computer at a friend’s house now and it’s fine therefore must be my error. Sorry to mess you about.
90 is written on both my bottles but I didn’t count until today (day 25) and 90 it was.
I was planning to stop at day 84 anyway (if I’m clear) and then … give the rest away?
