Haven´t checked in for quite a while, and this will probably be my last post as I received SVR12 results as UNEDTECTED today

Just got the reults for my 7 week bloodtests…… virus is UNDETECTED!!!
I´m extreemly greatful for the job beeing done by this community, Dr Freeman, Monkmed and all other good forces! I´m still amazed over how well the Reemption trials are set up, and the truly global effort going on to get the medicines out.

Thanks a lot for the good advice. I´m not suffering from any side effects, so I´ll take my pill as normal today.
I actually have a pillbox with the days of the week on it (I don´t understand how I could have managed without it. The TX have left me with a new understanding for all women out there eating pills on on a daily basis
) I´ve had a week off work in connection with easter and actually mixed up the days…..Happy easter to everyone!
Happy happy happy happy . Just got the results from my blood tests 2 weeks into treatment. VL had dropped from 9,6 mill pre Tx to 160!A final confirmation that the pills I´m eating is the real deal

!Just got back from London with my three boxes of Hepcivir-L. Started Tx on saturday and will finish last day of april
The meds got through customs in the UK without any hold-ups(spent 2 mins at customs according to fedex tracking). Going back to norway I walk through customs without beeing stopped. Not that it would have been a problem as you are allowed to bring 3 months of medication as long as you bring the prescription.
I´m very thankful for the whole fixhepc setup and all the good help from people here at the forum. I must admint that i have been very sceptical about buying drugs online, but now i´m fully confidendt that I have recieved the real deal.
It is quite humbeling to know that there have been people around the world (literally) involved in securing Tx for me. FixHepC in Australia/Tasmania, MonkMed in US/India, friends of friends lending me an adress in the UK and LondonGirl giving me confidence through chat and e-mails that this was actually doable.
I thought I´d make a post of how i did It for anyone else wanting to import to norway, any hints to where that should be posted?
The consultation went well
The doctor did two full rounds of fibrocan and they showed around 5 and 6. Apparenty there can be quite big variations depending on exacly where they do the measurements.As I have signed up for generics(Hepcivir-L) through the redemption trial and the meds where delivered in the UK on monday this week I was happy to see that there hadn´t been any more damage to the liver. I´m traveling to UK to pick up the meds friday and will start Tx saturday.

The meds cleared customs without any delays and were delivered to my UK adress today
It only took 10 days from I made the payment until they reached London. I´m traveling to London next friday to pick them up and will start Tx saturday 6. feb.

I haven´t recieved the meds yet, but have confidence in monkmed and fixhepc. I fully understand that you want to make sure you´re not getting ripped. So did I. I was conviced that this was the real deal from spendinig time on this forum and e-mailing directly with some of the good people i met here.

Things are moving in the right direction
Yesterday I met up with a new specialist and had a great experience. He did two rounds of Fibroscan, but no results high enough for putting in a new application for meds from NHS. Then I told him that I was waiting for generic medication organised through FixHepC buyers club. He was quite excited about this, as he had heard of buyers clubs but didn´t know of any patients that had tried it in Norway. He was very supportive about my choice and agreed to let me be followed by the hospital during treatment. As he said “you´ll take the medicines anyway, and it would be unethical not to follow you during treatment”.
I let him have a copy of the concent form from the Redemption trial and told him that he could let other patients curios about genercis contact me. Interesting to see if others will follow.
He also confirmed that once the meds arrive I can start taking them and that there is no danger associated with taking sof/led. I got an updated VL above 9000 and my others results seemed fine.
Today I recieved the tracker code from monkmed and my meds are on their way from India
Keeping fingers crossed they will get trhough customs without any trouble. Must say I´m very impressed with how well organised the Redemption operation is. Both monkmed and fixhepC reply to e-mails quickly and give good info all the way.It´s been a good week
Good news tonight: payment has cleared and meds will be shipped
If no hold up at customs they will arrive by next weekend. Looking foreward to get the tracking number so i can follow the journey

I have my appointment tomorrow morning and will go for a big breakfast. To those concearned, im still sober
As for getting generics, they´ll ship today. I will however have to bend a few rules to get them into the country anyways

. My first plan was to go to india to get meds. It´s still a plan B if the Redemption medication for some reason don´t get through to the UK adress.

I have been trying to get the word out at the norwegian forum hepatitt.org about fixhepc.com, but my post never appeared on the site. I posted as a guest and I´ll probably try a bit harder to get the word out there as I learn more about how the redemption trial and transport works out.
