Ariel it’s not clear to me whether you mean PTSD from the ordeal of Hep C or other PTSD being triggered?
I’ve had the mild to moderate sharpish pain around lower right ribcage as well, both during and particularly post-treatment. But not for a few weeks now – I’m about 8 weeks post treatment with SVR5. Doesn’t seem like anything to worry about
Well done Emilio!!! You so deserve this. Onward with your new life, on all cylinders now!
Thanks Kenbasman. Reassuring again that I’m not alone struggling post treatment. I think you’re right about the importance of just giving ourselves time to recover
Hey Debs! So glad you find my experiences reassuring. Now I’ve got my SVR5 I’m reassured that all sorts of crap experiences can have no relation to the virus at all! Despite all sorts of ups and downs, it seems that the one constant is lots of us getting SVRs
Good luck with your LFTs, though you almost certainly don’t need it
Thanks CC2B.
Hang in there Tweakmax! I have SO discovered that liverish does not necessarily equal virus. The crap feeling will almost certainly pass.
Lynne I really relate to a strange new energy/insomnia thing. It feels sometimes like I might just need less sleep now, like my biorhythms are being reset in a good way, but it still takes a bit of getting used to. Though when I feel crap it feels like the same old crap! I think I’m getting easier with the idea that the road to recovery will still have twists and turns.

It sure is! Feels like the FixHepC bandwagon is on a roll to health and new beginnings
Hey Isaing4. You’re doing great! My recent experience is that even symptoms that really seem like the virus coming back ain’t necessarily so (see my SVR 5 post today ).
Best of luck, though almost certainly you don’t need it. You’ve done the hard work, now you deserve the results
Congrats on SVR 4 Ariel
Feels like we’re all riding a wave of SVRs at the moment
Sounds like you’re doing really well Beaches
Wish I’d had your wisdom and avoided the dreaded interferon. Still, I was grossly misinformed by a liver specialist, who made it seem like a walk in the park…
Sounds like you’re actually doing really well Val. Just keep taking those pills and they’ll do their magic
Thanks Gaj & Fretboard
Actually my third UND. Was UND at weeks 4 and 8 during treatment. This is my first UND post-treatment.
I took generic drugs from Mesochem through FixHepC. 12 weeks Sof/Dac, and the proof seems to be there so far that it’s good stuff
As my wonderful doctor said to me recently, for something to go wrong now Brad Pitt would have to jump out with the zombies…
Really best of luck mate, but you almost certainly don’t need it
Feels really good to have joined the SVR section if only in a small way as yet
Thanks Lynne & thanks Dr Freeman. I actually came down with a cold on Friday. Perhaps the liverish feelings I had were the beginnings of that. In between the 5 days of complete crap and getting the cold on Friday was about a week of feeling run down with insomnia (though I think the insomnia was largely worry). I slept well last night
