Of the hundred or so polls I found, all but three show Clinton beating anyone currently on the Republican ticket by a comfortable margin. The closest is Rubio and he is not that close, but things can change.

like I mentioned in another post, polls can be manipulated, but Hillary is favored to win by peeps
who put their money where their mouth is. It is illegal to bet on politics in Las Vegas, but in the UK
    Hillary is favored

There was an interesting political cartoon is the national papers today. It showed Mitch McConnell, the Republican Senate leader having a nightmare. His nightmare: The next president appoints Obama as Supreme Court justice.

that would be great…payback for all the obstructionists in the past 7 years

Sometimes I wonder why people are so upset with Obama….

peeps will deny it but deep/shallow-seated skin color aversion might be a reason. Unfortunately, when
Hillary is in office, the “C” word (not cancer) probably will be common

My family and relatives have almost always voted for the Dems. It is just the way it is. I’m sure it is the same
for the other party. I read a good article about Trump if he is the GOP nomination. The US does not have
51% morons for Trump to get elected. LOL.

And to Sirchinege…..I agree 100% with your post. We will not be alive when it happens in the US,
but a revolution will happen sometime in the future….rich versus poor, black/brown/yellow/red versus
whitey, and the Republicans against everyone NOT a republican.

Should I wear underwear under my skirt or not?

You bring back memories of my early college days (70′;).
We thought it would be cool(pun intended) to go commando.
There was maybe 10 to 12 of us, girls and boys, who did this.
We had over 30 pairs of jeans each. Therefore, sanitation was
    somewhat taken care of

The girls eventually went back to their frilly undergarments. They
thought it was more sexy, not to mention more hygienic.

Hope….Like your name…trust it. Your name will become a reality.

Glad you have settled on a date. Goals and deadlines gets one’s ass in gear.
That’s what I did. I had possession of my meds 2 and 3 weeks prior to finally
eating them. I must say it was underwhelming…..nothing, nada, zilch. Bear
    in mind though YMMV.

Regarding coffee….I drank a 6 cups per day before tx and now maybe 4 cups
probably because of the meds, I think. I believe it is part physical and part
psychological. Because of your anxiety and if want to still drink coffee,
start slowly…no coffee, 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, etc and see what happens.

Regarding benzos….have some handy for emergencies if needed. Maybe the hot
coffee melted your diazepam quickly and somehow you had an adverse reaction.
Benzos are supposed to calm you down. From my experience so far, these new
Hep C meds are very powerful. For me, they mask the effectiveness somewhat of
other meds that I am taking.

Lots of people here have already given you some good sound advise. You are the
captain of your own ship. Make informed decisions and you will be fine. Good luck….e.

    Hi guys/girls, I’m starting on Tuesday :)

Last time I took diapazem was 2 months ago when I bought a new coffee machine and drank coffe with only 1 percent caffeine in it and it made me half way to hell <img style=ick:' />

So, my question would be this: this buzzy, speedy feeling that some of you talked about, does it compare to drinking lots of cofee? :)

I must say reading this thread has been entertaining and intriguing. Was there an intent,
purpose, reasoning, etc of the OP? Members of this site have posted on other less informative
websites their experiences w/generics. Some have have done it with anecdotal stories to
sway opinion and/or at least put in a seed of misinformation or doubt and not to mention
worry and fear. And of course, factual, true information have been disclosed, also.

These kinds of tactics can and do work both ways. As Mike has alluded to….Where are you Jeff?
Everyone is welcomed here, but one’s motivation is sometimes not clear.

Agreed 110% about quality over quantity, Dr F. The “living on the edge ” quote is a good one.
Life is too short as many of us are experiencing now as we get older. I always thought that I
would die with HCV, not because of it. HCV was going to be another final “edge” until Greg
Jefferys and FixHepC appeared in my life. I have seen the final edge 4 or 5 times in my lifetime.

Luck, fate, destiny, karma, etc has been my partner my whole life. I’ve always had cats(and dogs)
as pets growing up. Cats only now, but the 9 lives thing…I can relate too.

My decision to drink sensibly while on treatment is my decision and mine only. I have vetted and
done my due diligence on the topic. Everyone on or soon to be on treatment must make their own
decision , notwithstanding the medical profession. 99.9% of them will say “DON’T”. Dr F is one of
    the .1%.

I am keeping a log/journal on my alcohol intake for the next 12 weeks and the results of my lab
results like Vororo. They will be posted as time goes on.

V….excellent downward trend. You are an inspiration for those that wanted real numbers
posted. But peeps are different and have different reactions to many different things.
You might have posted it, but could tell us again what amount of alcohol and frequency
    you are following.

I started tx three days ago. I cut down on my alcohol to 1-2 drink per night. I have enough
meds to continue treatment longer if after 4 weeks there is no significant improvement.

Interesting to note though is that the generic sof/led is very powerful and the effect of
alcohol and other prescription meds are not felt as readily as before….at least that is
what I have experienced. I will post my results as time passes.

Good to hear you are making significant progress and congrats on UND EOT……e.

M…interesting corollary w/ my own life history except I was number 345 in the
draft lottery. Either youthful indiscretion or auto accident (4 surgeries) in the 70’s
would be ground zero in my situation. I like to say auto accident

As others have said, it does not matter one iota how one got it. There are people
of different walks of life who have HVC. It doesn’t matter what ethnicity, religion, gender,
