I have had similar symptoms of skin itching or burning for years. They have abated a little since treatment but still flare up at times.
I also get muscle cramps sometimes which I relate to too much carb or sugar consumption. I do try to limit consumption of these and definitely have less cramps if I eat mainly vegetables and fruit with some protein and fats like nuts, avocado and eggs, but some carb heavy foods taste so good especially on cold winter days. :S

It’s just a deferment to the changes. They are still on the table, just at the other end of it.

I got a bill for my last VL test too. $155! I believe I am entitled to 4 qualitative tests in a 12 month period while receiving treatment but this was my first. I did have several quantitative. The path request form clearly states I am under treatment with DAAs. Idiots. :(

Old And In The Way is one of my favourite all-time albums. I still have a vinyl copy, slightly worn from playing.
Old And In The Gray is also a fantastic album, released in 2002 featuring the surviving members from the original.
Here they are performing the Townes van Zandt classic (slightly dodgy video) –

I had the pleasure of working with Pete Rowan several years ago. :)

I want GD’s “Box Of Rain” to be played at my funeral.
“Such a long long time to be gone
and a short time to be there”
GD trivia – Box Of Rain was the last song GD played before Jerry Garcia left this mortal coil.

You answered your own question. Yes the DAAs will be mopping up stragglers that are hiding, but as they are not in the bloodstream they can’t be detected by a blood test. It’s been mentioned that it’s better to continue treatment after UND for a while to make sure those hiding viruses have a better chance of being killed.

…being unaware that Grapefruit and these DAAs are not a good mix. Oops.

Grapefruit has been mentioned as contraindicated with daclatasvir but not with Harvoni. See http://fixhepc.com/forum/drug-interactions/611-cyp3a4-inhibitors-and-daclatasvir-fruits.html#8547

Don’t panic! I too have good and bad days and niggling thoughts about relapse, but was UND at 6 weeks into treatment and just got SVR4 result. :) Some pre-tx symptoms are still there but probably related to things such as age, fitness level, diet, fibromyalgia. osteoarthritis, candida overgrowth or failure to quit smoking (yet).
Think positive but see your doctor and discuss your concerns.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to hide the bodies of those who pissed me off.

About the same here. Fatigue is common so if that makes you less active and you eat the same, you will gain weight. Simples! :)
Sometimes I really struggled to get to my usual swimming and other exercise, but it was easy to do once I got out the front door and always felt better afterwards.

Hmm, I had Hep B in 1977 which cleared afaik, and had immunisation in 1990 required by a job I started. Could that really confuse the test?

Apples and carrots are high in fructose. A litre of juice probably has as much sugar as a can of soft drink.
    Moderation is the key.

I don’t see the relationship between guns and HCV or “What is the perfect medical treatment system”.
