I’d be more worried about dentists than hairdressers.

Dentists suspended in Sydney for unhygienic practices:

Article today mentions 89% of university undergraduates had experienced phantom vibration syndrome.

Damn, pawpaws have been really yummy this season. I quit them shortly after starting tx after seeing the same linked article in another thread.
I hope lychees are ok, they’re good now too. In moderation, they have decent amount of Vitamin C which is also contraindicated.

It would be great to have a sticky for common foods, vitamins and herbals to avoid during treatment, and recommend any that are helpful. IIRC, gingko, ginseng and St Johns Wort have been mentioned. Drug interactions can already be searched.

I think the euphoria comes from at least 2 different paths. Firstly is the pure mental relief of having the stigma and weight of carrying the disease finally lifted after many years, probably half a lifetime for many of us.
Secondly (and more theoretical) is clearing the virus may remove suppression of some of the body’s normal functions, physically giving more energy and improved mood. And that speedy feeling.
I was feeling quite energetic and elated for the first couple of weeks on Sof/Dac but this has settled after 4 weeks to a general improved feeling of well-being.

I reckon if you have the drugs now, start taking them now. They will be the same drugs you would have to wait till March to get under PBS. Harvoni is just the registered brand name for sofosbuvir + ledipasvir which is exactly what you would have got through Buyers Club, presuming that’s what you were prescribed.
Technically if your specialist referred you to Greg Jeffreys who referred you to Buyers Club, you did get them through Greg J. Your specialist is being an arsehole (someone had to say it).

Dr Freeman has offered to monitor you. Make an appointment with him via GP2U (or personally if you are in Hobart) and arrange that.

On reflection I did seem to handle the heat better. I was out playing Ingress in 39C one afternoon! Wouldn’t have considered that last summer. It was mainly in the car with the aircon running (struggling more like) at max.

    Like I said, trivial.

I’m glad it’s an open source CMS and extension. I’m a big advocate and have used Debian for many years as my main OS.

Back to the original topic, I have confusion with the breadcrumb links at the bottom of each page. “Forum” takes you to http://fixhepc.com/forum.html which appears the same as as Recent Topics (http://fixhepc.com/forum/recent.html). “Main Forum” comes up as http://fixhepc.com/forum/main-forum.html which appears the same as Index (http://fixhepc.com/forum/index.html).
    Could the breadcrumbs be clarified/simplified?

I was about to make a new topic about smileys but then saw the above post. Posting multiple smileys horizontally is normal for almost every other forum I’ve ever used. Using a table is a workaround but many people would not know how to do that.
I know it’s a trivial thing but if the forum dev has time, it would be nice.
Generally I’m pretty impressed with how well this forum works especially the responsiveness. Is it a custom built one or based on a publicly available source?
