    GENO 2B
TREATED WITH iNTERFERON/RIBA IN 1995 Failed
    Treated With Soif/Riba 2015/16 Failed
I have followed all trials on Sof/Vel/Vox and it seems to be my best option out there.
Not sure where to source the meds especially the Vox.
Am going to speak to GP2U tomorrow.

Thats pretty well where i am now. I have been recommended the Sof/Vel/Vox by a Doctor friend in the USA. Just not sure about availability and time frame. Speaking to GP2U tomorrow.

Really Thanks. Waiting for Test results. NHS seem reluctant to even consider anything not on their approved list. I am discussing providing the drugs and being monitored by NHS. This is hopeful once type of medication is decided? Should have results soon.

    Hi

    From the waiting room.
First post for me. Diagnosed Geno 2B in 1990
treated with peg/riba and failed. had a torrid time, bad reaction to Riba.
    deteriorated thru 2013/5
Re treated in early 2015/16 with Sofo/Riba for 12 weeks
reached SVR 12 and relapsed 3 months after EOT. I am now waiting for the results of a further viral test to try and identify the type of mutation.
Obviously really concerned but read all trials and studies and have hopes that maybe Sof/VEL/Vox could do the job. Double concerned because as i understand it the NHS do not have a mandate to re-treat. ( It was hard enough to get the sof/riba authorised!)
Also i have read that the virus continues to after EOT?

    Keeping head up and waiting

    Hi

    From the waiting room
Geno 2b Apparently since a blood transfusion and subsequent yellow Jaundice in 1963
    Diagnosed in1991 failed a 24 week ribavirin/Peginterferon course
2015 started on course of Sof/rib after many problems
2016 failed the Sof/Riba course after 12 weeks
    Complete relapse.
Awaiting lab test reports on type of mutation.
Hope the new sof/vel/vox will be applicable. It looks promising.
I am being told that the new thinking is virus mutates after completion of meds and have to wait before starting next course,
Are there any planned fixhepc trials with Vox?
