Hi Mike, Thank you for your kinds words and inspiration!

As I did not have insurance and the high cost of Harvoni is well publicized here in the states I really didn’t think there was a solution. I simply started doing google searches to see if I could possibly find a cure in another country. Eventually that search produced a hit for FHC website and I was thinking WOW this can’t be true. I posted a message in the newcomer section (which is REALLY helpful) and people took the time to welcome and respond to my questions. Here I am receiving treatment less than a month later. My out of pocket for everything (consultation with Dr. Freeman, local blood work from the lab, and medications) is under $2000 U.S.. There is simply no possible way financially or otherwise I could have done this without the knowledge that you an others have posted here. I can’t wait to beat this thing, 29 years is a long time to carry this disease.

If there is anyone else that is new and wondering if this is real….please send me a message and let me try to help as well.

I ordered my meds from Adam at Kingswood pharmacy and they arrived here in the U.S.A. 2 days ago. Started taking them right away. No other updates to offer just wanted to offer some comfort to those that have concerns about shipping meds internationally.

    Thanks Tom

Can someone tell me if Hepcvir or Twinvir is better for 1a. I have a script for Hepcvir but I also have an appointment scheduled for the trials through Monkmed which would likely prescribe one of Incepta’s brands.

    Thoughts..advice…suggestions?

    Thanks Tom

P.S. I know these questions might seem a bit redundant but I am ready to pull the trigger so to speak and want to make the best possible choice for treatment.

I scheduled a doctor appointment with Dr. Freeman tomorrow night. I called Adam at Kingswood pharmacy and was quoted 1650usd
for 12 weeks of Sofosbuvir/Ledipasvir. Hopefully the consultation goes well and I can get treatment.

    I appreciate the help.

Thank you so much for your inspiration. I am a carpenter but the job gets tougher every year. I used to feel bad 2 to 3 days a month…over the last 5 years it’s getting to the point where I only feel strong 2 to 3 days a month. I try to tell my friends its like having thick syrup for blood, everything requires more effort and fatigue hits me quick. I relish the days where I can jump up and tackle my work and still have energy to mow the yard and tackle projects around the house. Usually I just kick off the boots after work and don’t move until the next morning.

I love your story about cutting up the brush…spring is upon us and I would love to put the chainsaw to work.

Good luck and keep it up!!!

    Tom

Hello everyone my name is Tom. I live in St. Louis, Missouri.
The more I read the more confusing this all becomes. My hope is there is someone here that can simplify this for me.
If my post is out of place and wrong I apologize. I just found this site and I can’t wait to get some answers.

I have been Hep C positive for 29 years (initial diagnosis in 1987 was non A non b). I am genotype 1a.

Stage 2 fibrosis. Not sure on current viral load but past results were high.

Non responder to Interferon and Ribavirin in early 90’s. Looking to get hooked up with the success many are having here.

    My questions:
Can I enroll in this study (Redemption) being from the US.
Can I obtain these prescriptions without traveling out of the country?
Can I use the online doctors such as GP2U being in the US?

Is this doable??? I don’t have insurance but I do have some savings I can use for a doctor and hopefully some affordable medications.

    Please help…I really appreciate it.

    Thank you, Tom
