Thank you, Dan!
Urea and Creatinine - done and are OK
The electrolytes, the various salts in the bloodstream... things like sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate.- never done, as I remember. :(
But I shall test at 4 weeks! B)
And 52 weeks? Why? As I understand the treatment is either 12 weeks or 24 weeks.
I don't understand.

Not sure, but you need to check post treatment your VL at 4, 12 and 24 weeks, to see if you reached SVR.

I have one more question.
ALT/AST ratio does have a meaning during treatment?
Does anyone know?

A belated welcome here isaing4! Great you are doing well already.

My understanding of the 4/52 is it's an abbreviation - a way of indicating @ 4 weeks, as there are 52 weeks in a year; therefore testing @ 8 weeks would be written 8/52. It doesn't mean it's the length of your treatment.

All the best for the rest of your Tx :)

Just to confirm what others have already correctly told you.

4/52 is doctor code for 4 weeks

8/52 would be 8 weeks
YMMV

I just received 2 weeks viral load, down to 514 from 9 mil. Yay! :woohoo:
I know, there are targets to be achieved, the first UND and SVR24. But right now I am confident that cure is possible for me.
Happy New Year and be all cured in 2016!

I have a question, please!
On my blood test paper is written:
method of work limit of detection in the field of linearity ( measurable ) 45 UI/ml
analytical sensitivity 15 UI/ml

Why the measurable limit of detection is not equal with the sensitivity? When UND the viral load is < then 15 UI/ml or <45 UI/ml?
Thanks!
I just want to know how good is my lab. :cheer:

It can measure accurately from 45 to 100 000 000. Under 45 it can only detect between 15 and 45 but not quantifiable. Below 15 the apparatus can not detect it. So <15, it means UND for the Lab.

Your Lab is very good.

I am taking B12 and D vitamin from today. Hoping all the best for me and all of you!
