Genotype 1a
Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND
Cured baby

EOT day
Well I thank you all and each for this funky time.
Yesterday was massive
I surfed dawn patrol so lucky we are the iPhones have great cameras.
Went to St Kilda! Ate food had mandatory cake from Europa Cake Shop. Reminiscing time of Uni daze.
Saw an aging Brian Wilson perform at the iconic Palais theatre, reminisced about nights we gatecrashed the likes of Grace Jones, the Angels and well anything we could con our way into once upon a time.
Took last tab a couple of hours ago.
Bloods due back sometime this week
Flippers and fins crossed for a Neptunes pardon for this mermaid now!
SVR I have you in my emotion ocean now be a reality ty!

Okay so my biochem is back already from Fridays EOT bloods:
All fantastic: plus the important ones so far;
ALT 11
AST 17
GGT 19

I'm thinking that I am defs okay still and expect an UND midweek to come through again to take to the liver clinic with my Aqua book of papers. :evil:

We are all very happy about the support from FixHepC as we went through this tx. My GP and I are very grateful for the experience and advice from Dr J. when I needed BP assistance.


I will blog my VL PCR RNA when it comes.

I have that record! And can remember listening to The Captain and Alan MacGirvan on double J when I was quite sick with Hep B. Was one of the few things that cheered me up.

Your blood results are wonderful and I'm sure your VL will be at least as wonderful. To infinity and beyond!
