What was the progression of symptoms that made you suspect what turned out to be an unfortunate relapse? I mean, did you feel better during treatment and then things changed in a particularly noticeable way?

I'm just asking as I'm sure that most people have waves of vitality and enervation, so you must have noticed something out of the ordinary that provoked your suspicion. Maybe there is something for all of us to look out for just in case.

Good question A.L and I'm glad you asked it. The symptoms that came back were bloating, swollen liver and some mild liver pain which I hadn't had for 3 months.

cheers

SVR 24 here but this bloating, right flank pain, swollen liver continue as before Harvoni, did not have this on treatment so I dont know if they are really signs of a relapse

So just check ALT and ASP. If they are similar to the results obtained at the EOT you should be fine. That's my opinion. You can always take another HCV-RNA test.

I just achieved SVR 24 and a relapse happens normally between 4 to 8 weeks. I guess it takes its time to heal if it does.

This needs an U/S or CT to check out
YMMV
