    One year ago….
    I was sick and really frustrated. My GI had given up on getting insurance approval. We couldn’t travel to eastern Europe to see my wife’s family for the 3rd year in a row because of HCV-an early July appointment with a new GI and the constant battle with my insurance company. The tail was wagging the dog.
    One year ago….
    I had contacted Artemis Health in India and was waiting on their call saying they could treat me with sofosbuvir and ledipasvir, because I had heard of some crazy guy who went there for sofosbuvir and was making his own medicine or some such crap. It sounded so insane at the time. I immediately began “digging”…
    Nobody is crazier than me…
    If he can do it, by God, I can…..
    Then a name popped up to go with the “crazy” man: Greg Jefferys. And a place: Tasmania.
    The first question was “WHERE IN THE SHIT IS TASMANIA?” The next was “How can I find this guy?”
    The rest is now history.
    What a wild and crazy year!!!
    Headed to Romania in two weeks.
    Leaving HCV behind.
    Got a gozillion new friends.
    Feeling pretty damn good overall.
    Ain’t that something!!

    Yeah it’s shameful how Hep C sufferers are being treated in the US. Thank god for generic solutions.

    Genotype 1a diagnosed in 2013.
    Treating for the first time since October 31 with Buyers Club Sof/Led. Thanks so much guys. Minimal side effects apart from sore throat at the start..
    Viral load 5.4m when treatment started, Undetected at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, End of Treatment and 12-weeks post EOT. Yay!

    Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
    Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
    4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
    Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
    VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

    EOT Results
    Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

    12 Weeks post EOT
    Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND
    Cured baby

    A wild and crazy year indeed…

    You cured yourself making pills from powders from some chick “Rachel” at Mesochem in China. Talk about sketchy! :cheer:

    And then went on to help scores of people get cured, including me!!
