At risk of sounding like even more of a wanker than I normally do, may I say that for me the practice of Yoga has been a refuge in times of crisis.
I don’t mean that getting onto the mat calms me down(although it does), I mean that the practice over several years has somehow shifted the way I view the world. On a physical level, my Yoga practice wasn’t enough to keep the Hep C symptoms at bay if I’d practiced more, who knows) but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a contributor to my F0 scan results. Yoga works and rests the organs themselves in a way nothing else can (twists to massage them, inversions to free them from the pull of gravity)
What I mean is that somehow I’ve become able to see things objectively that I couldn’t before (for example observing the destructive rituals that can plague relationships and just not taking part) and to make it through some very tough times and not go completely nuts (toxic individuals asserting their agendas around the deaths of my loved ones). I think for sure it has helped me deal with having Hep C
It has so many benefits, and the more you do it the more you realise just how damn good it is for you and how it helps in every aspect of your life.
Here endeth the rant

I’m into yoga I started individual training in peginf days and even had yogic healings to assist with the projectile vomiting that I had up to ten or more times at a time. When I was well enough to get up I did the Tibetans and other low level yoga exercises. My yogi still attends to me and I do TM. I will see if there’s more I can do yoga wise ty Beaches for the prompt.
Gaj if I listed ex students who have recorded stuff it would be embarrassing. Wally, well I didn’t teach him though, oh maybe yes in Primary can’t remember. In 25 years I taught a lot of musos. What I have seen in my HepCV so far has screwed me. I’m sorry if I appear narcissistic in any way
At present my shoulders I cannot feel, or my legs. My mind is flashing subconscious to conscious stuff like the day in 2013 they blithely told me I relapsed after the peginf I never needed and which has f-ed much of my health. Not HepC but that txAnyway just bangin on here
Have a good one
Don’t let me put anyone off tx it’s not about this meds.
Ariel14 April 2016 at 3:10 am #15432Ah m8 I’m sure many here can feel your pain
SO glad I never went for the interferon tx, even though Dr Simone Strasser pretty much called me an idiot for it – well she can go to the far queue can’t she.
Scary how toxic and brutal that stuff is.

Cured baby14 April 2016 at 7:55 am #15452I’m loving that chick on the SUP Beaches
My consult was cathartic I had a good let down turned into a big blubbering seal doing the flipper roll in my GPs room. Get through to SVR4 bloods he said and he is right, he pointed out that pulling bloods now isn’t going to help this is straight out of my last tx experience and no he doesn’t think it’s anything but that. Just get through these next 2 and a half weeks pull bloods and then review. The odds are on my side anyway as I have reported consistently in my blogs. It’s simply severe PTSD from peginf relapse and tx syndrome from it too.I know I have shot myself in the foot. I’m looking forward to writing UND and you can all have a dig at me cos I will need the laughs I can assure y’all!
Over 90% is amazing after all.
Ty for outting the doc who wanted you on peginf Beaches, I wish I had been told about it rather than just being basically shoved onto it not being told anything except it would “cure me”. It is that legacy that has created the need for this consult today and sharing on the forum re anxiety. I’m so glad I have an excellent GP who is prepared to work with the recommendations of the FixHepC data and protocols. Luck14 April 2016 at 1:39 pm #15471I really didn’t enjoy being bullshitted to. The good doctor swore blind that any Sx of peginf were insignificant and temporary well isn’t that a big fat porky pie.
My GP is an alternative kind of guy (which is good most of the time but not when your low back has crapped out on you, you have serious nerve pain 24*7 and can’t sleep and he won’t give you any decent pain relief for it did he think I was an addict just because I have HCV? But I digress) so when I said I would literally rather die than go on peginf he seemed to think it was quite reasonable (although I’m sure his notes on me would be interesting lol)
But Ariel… A few days ago I was reading a post by Dr James. It had some stats about sustained response. I’ve just looked for it but couldn’t find it,sorry. Anyway,he says when people go UND they stay that way. I’m sure you know that, but knowing doesn’t take away the fear. You will be fine

A few days late but nonetheless I wanted to say this to you; I sincerely hope that you are feeling that you have realized a confident and improved state of being. I’m sorry that you had to experience your previous Tx and that your health has been compromised by the meds. However long the night, the dawn will break. — African Proverb – Hausa Tribe

He is just awesome. I’m in love with Pipe I don’t surf it I surf other places in Hawaii that won’t kill me. I do however stay at Pipe when on Oahu rather than Waikiki. That North Shore is magnetic and the Winter swells are majesty.
I’m getting a few liver twinges I read others did too and it was no biggie.
Ty for the props as I wait we all know about waiting in this business!!! It’s part of it isn’t it? ick:' />I best add a couple of my Pipeline pics from during my last Vans Triple Crown surfari, this is Nov/Dec 2015. Do other Aussies realise its only $229 on Jetstar? (One way.) I go in November. Not sure prices at other times. Cheap to stay in bungalows and live the real life if you’re game. Make friends too.

I had my bloods pulled at 9am for SVR4
I feel so released and I think this song sums it up. Because I don’t really have any control over the results but I also realised I am not concerned once the job was done. It’s a no brainier and hey…. In the words of a golden haired domestic goddess from a bygone era… -
