So what I’m saying is that under 30 can also be under 12…you understand? Or as good as undetected….You have people who stay “detected” and don’t get the “effer” back…but that’s not gonna happen…you re gonna go to undetected status….In the beginning it fluctuates anyways…
12 February 2016 at 11:51 pm #11811Thanks Life Jaz LG and GAJ and friends
I forgot to mention
The other question was: “Have you missed any pills”
ick:' />
Yup
Do you drink and have you missed any pills
Gotta love that bedside manner.
Thanks for your information Life that is interesting to read and I was thinking it’s probably almost gone maybe just a few fragments left so we are on the same wavelength
Thanks for having a look at my bloods friends they seem pretty okay to me too.
I’m up early
Is anyone else mid tx having night nausea and waking early from same?
Sinuses are a tad blocked so a slight headache but I can go to the sea to sort that luckily
My granuloma is starting to subside
The granuloma has been really aggressive at times like wow! The most obvious legacy is some loss of colour on the sides of my neck but the actual red rings are defs subsiding and I am off predisolone for the first time in years Yew !13 February 2016 at 5:03 am #11833Hi Ariel,
Don’t worry about the doctor asking those questions, it is SOP and not a reflection on you. I used to get that too, but over the last four years have built a pretty good relationship with my specialist (and other clinic staff) due to regular visits so he obviously no longer feels need to check those aspects. To be honest I’d rather answer those questions and not need the ten or so visits I had in last 12 months.
I understand how you probably feel that you are treated as just being a number, I think some of it is self preservation on the part of the staff, though some are definitely better than others at bedside manner.
I’m sure most staff of all the clinics are glad that they will have something better to offer from 1st March but will be looking at the coming workload and how they prioritise with some trepidation.Great news about granuloma! It’s really nice, and builds confidence in the Tx when others start to notice the difference, doesn’t it?

13 February 2016 at 6:13 am #11836Hi Ariel, blood results look good. Low VL, your ALT – 19, but no AST? (like GAJ I was curious), they usually do both as they are part of the LFT panel, and apparently the ratio between AST/ALT gives more info.
Everything looks good.
I suspect that she may have asked about drinking because the GGT is 30 – still Great – but it takes longer to drop and she might have wanted to know if alcohol intake is a factor. OR she may have been one of those very Judgemental types that we all know and LOVEI just got back earlier from having my bloods taken at 5 1/2 weeks, so won’t know anything until next week or longer?
Great news for you Ariel

GGT 50H13 February 2016 at 11:49 am #11847Thanks Chejai and GAJ
I backed this up with a visit to my GP today and he said nah all good no dramas
He wrote a new VL and LFT etc path up yes including the AST because he also suspected I am probably clear by now maybe just a few fragments
He praised my progress and the team here
The <30 is a bit ambiguous when the test is for the 30-10000000 assay so I asked for a different lab and he wrote it up we are not even bothering to network in to my liver clinic the result its for me this one.
Will pop in on Monday and get this done that is our end of week 5 Chejai!
I'm putting on curves again and feel brighter in all parts of my wellness
All the feedback is basically the meds are working and my results are okay
We talked about my deafness it's been a massive issue since peg/inf so I am referred to an audiation specialist!
How are your sx now Chejai?
I'm not nearly as tired as I was a few days ago
Hoping the humidity up there has not been too vile too xxxxx

Doesn’t look like you’ve been on the drink at all.. hmy:
So no worries, you’re probably completely clear of any little hanger-oners by now!!
So glad your auto immune problems are improving, mine all did too after beating the virus.

I have had my recent blood test at Dorevitch Pathology on Thursday. This is my 3 VL request because my previous results only indicated assay range LLOQ <35 when I was hoping for <15. It seems Austin path may not have the most sensitive equipment. I contacted Dorevitch to ask about analytical range but the receptionist would not forward my call on to any of their team because I am not a doctor. According to customer service they have new PCR equipment FYI to those testing in VictoriaAttachments:

.forever grateful to fixhepc15 February 2016 at 5:03 am #11962Actually, Ariel the weather has been all over the shop floor! Past few weeks wild winds, storms that have settled to intermittent downpours, extreme high temps to cool but now rising again! And yes, the humidity arrrrrghghg….
But this gives a big swell and some wild waves so you might be in luck! Haven’t been to the Gold Coast for years, it’s only a couple of hours south but really busy, touristy and traffic hell! Kirra is/was? a beautiful place and Wow, haven’t been to Snapper since I was a teen!
Hope you have a Good Time, if it wasn’t such a hike I’d love to meet up.Well, as for sx it feels like I no sooner say, “gee, I’m feeling good!’ and then Bam! I have had a migraine since Saturday night, absolute killer and like that time earlier, nothing I use shifts it. Also severe neck and joint pain, so it may have been all the driving Friday, which usually stirs things up for me.
Can’t believe we are ending week 5 already!
Hope you’re well

GGT 50H16 February 2016 at 8:49 am #11989Ariel has swum into her cave she is sleeping and feeling very lethargic and needs a merman to help which did come in the form of a tradesman $$ now she needs a school of fish to pop by with stocks for her empty fridge
Ariel has overdone helping others and is in hibernation. She also prefers to only listen to soothing rippling water and bubbles and has hidden from the noisey din
Ariel already knows about sx from her botched peg/inf and knows when her coral cave is the best place to be
She will swim out when she is ready
Mermaids long hair and scales take a lot of time to maintain
She sends her love out to all and will be back soon

24 wks SVR yeeaa!!17 February 2016 at 5:09 am #12057Hi Ariel: I’ve been just catching up on your posts, I was away a little while, so missed your results back there a ways, But those tests look GOOD, like you said,l think that one you got for viral load just wasn’t as sensitive as some of the other tests some of us had. Your other stuff looks good so I have to believe it will all come out fine. I got my tests back a few days ago from blood I had drawn 1 week after eot and still UND. Love hearing aboout your surf.
I wish I had tried surfing a lot earlier than I did, I’ve gone to Dominical and Jaco in Costa Rica and also beaches in Nicaragua and tried a few times, keep getting knocked on my ass…probably should have started when I was 18, but the beach just wasnt’ close enough so I took it all out riding motorcycles. But I can’t get enough beach, its where I always end up when I have the chance.
You will be good, its all gonna be good, you have lots and lots of waves left to catch, keep paddling out there!
GT 2b; since 80’s, no prior tx, sofosbuvir and daclatasvir compounded from API’s at Kingswood Pharmacy in Sydney, started tx nov 6,2015, undetected at 4 wks, UND at 8 weeks, UND at 1 week after EOT, UND at 4 weeks after EOT and UND at 8 weeks after EOT. I feel GOOD!! I knew that I WOULD!””
