That is not common and does need checking out. Liver panel and viral load to rule out a relapse and other tests if that’s not it.
YMMV
27 April 2017 at 6:57 am #25914So am I reading this right youre g-3 f-04 and were treated 2x then december 2017 treated a 3rd time and youre svr? If so I’m curious what the trial you were involved in? was G/P? glecaprivir/pibrentasvir?
28 April 2017 at 7:07 am #25918Hi. It’s time to update my situation for reference to future readers. I treated for 16 weeks with Daklinza/Sovaldi. I elected to wait until the 3 month post treatment mark for testing, as my then-side effects began subsiding somewhat. Results came back a week ago and I received good news- I am non-detectable for HCV 3. I will get a final test done next year to give full peace of mind, although I am aware current standing is to take the 3 mth post test as virtually final. My remaining treatment side effects include some neuropathy to hands/feet, some tiredness/mild fatigue and at times a flat mood. I was Genotype 3a with F1, treatment experienced (Pegasus/Ribavirin). Best of luck to all. X
28 April 2017 at 8:33 am #25919Congratulations on being SVR12, that’s great news. Waiting until next year for your final test may be going a bit far. SVR24 is the big one that most of us on this forum are trying to reach. That 24 week post-treatment result should provide you with the certainty you are seeking. In the meantime I hope you can get some good advice about how to deal with your lingering issues. Best wishes!

Thank-yous to my doctor for the script, to Jan at FixHepC for wrangling, and to Dr Freeman for courage.
Kia kaha e hoa ma!28 April 2017 at 11:48 am #25921Hello AK123,
Congrats on the SVR12. Glad you did 16 weeks – it’s clearly better for GT3s.
With the neuropathy please get checked for diabetes and thyroid function. Some B complex vitamins may well do no good but may help and won’t do any harm.
YMMV

12 August 2020 at 1:02 am #30017I would like to ask a very personal question. If you are going through the treatment, can you take substances to improve your potency? I have read very positive feedback about Kamagra jelly Australia. But I am a bit concerned about the possible harmful effects. Can you suggest anything? Maybe someone has a similar experience to share. I will appreciate your answers a lot.
