    The old liver is “battle hardened” if its like mine. Alcohol and the constant fight against the virus. Now the main opponent is gone, your liver can probably handle the level of ethyl you are talking about and still heal. I’m much like you. My beer belly is starting to show.
    One beer a day. thats my limit. but its a 22 ounce locally brewed farmhouse ale. 9.2%.

    I had my enzymes tested as an experiment. I have been drinking one 22 oz bottle of very good, very potent Arkansas Farmhouse Ale every day for one month. My enzyme levels, both ALT and AST, went down one point.
