I hope those who read my (rather long!) blog can gain confidence and faith in taking this pathway to better health.
Not so long ago in the scheme of things, I was extremely unwell, incredibly underweight, could hardly walk, terrified and looking at a minimum of 6 months Interferon/Riba/Boc or Telap (Ugg) treatment with a low chance of success. I knew it could possibly finish me off. This is not drama, but the truth as only I could know how I was feeling, even if some (not all) NHS Drs (with the exception of the great Professor Dusheiko) thought otherwise and didn’t take my symptoms seriously. I was struggling to work as it was and there was a risk of me losing my job and therefore home on top. Never mind the other symptoms. My emotional state was also extremely fragile with the worry of it all.
I especially hope any patients who have a slower response like me to treatment and are not supported by their healthcare authority with the optimum treatment, advise and monitoring, can gain hope and faith from my story.
I truly believe that the pathway I took, was not only a ‘good alternative’ but a superior one.
The advise and outstanding care I have received from Drs Freeman and Debasis has been nothing short of amazing. Without a hint of the pompous, blythe and condescending attitude of some NHS ‘consultants’ , one who didn’t show for my 1st long awaited appointment leaving a note saying he ‘didn’t want to see me’ after I physically struggled to get to the appointment.
Thanks to Dr Freeman’s amazing official trial and trip to the Barcelona liver conference which gained EASL support, things have become much easier since those dark days with more and more UK hospitals ‘quietly’ supporting and indeed, worldwide.
There are still some nervous medics worrying that some meds could be not up to scratch and this is why I suggest it is extremely important to go through a trusted supply chain such as MonkMed / FixHepC as I have, where we know licensed Indian medicines are sourced legally and correctly with the utmost care and correct procedures and have quality support from caring Drs who are not held back by bureacracy, financial restrictions, and other questionable reasons.
I say this to all those living with this horrible condition, you have come to the right place and I, along with 90%+ other patients, have been fixed ! and I have faith that % in the ‘slow-lane’ will also be fixed.
I wish good health and happiness to all !

Hi LG,
You can be sure that your story does inspire others! I am one of those who, before deciding to get treated, read your posts and it helped me because it was information coming from a patient. Somehow I was in a need to read it.
HCV is an extremely complex case and one needs as much support can get. I do not wish to imply that the information I got from Dr. Freeman was not enough, actually it was more then enough, however I felt the need to know the stories of other people being like me. Therefore thank you very much for sharing it!
Cheers,
RHF
In fiecare an HCV ucide peste 500000 oameni.Medicamentele generice pentru hepatita C functioneaza. Nu deveni statistica! Cauta pe Google “medicamente generice pentru hepatita C”.
HCV kills more than 500000 people every year. HCV generic drugs work. Don’t become a statistic.
By sharing this Youtube video you might save someone’s life!
