The ducks are so you can get them all in a row: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Get+my+ducks+in+a+row
And the animated emoticons need to be typed in:
# rant without the space gives you
# woohoo! without the space gives you ….but don’t forget the ! or it won’t work.

13 January 2016 at 3:48 pm #8957Yes LG bloods at 4 weeks all good alt ast first time they have been low and normal in 35 years. The line up for fibroscans at royal melb hospital is 3 or 4 months. Which is going to slow the line up. The blood test which reads fibrosis sounds like what they should be doing. You cant do that test though once you have started treament, which is where I found myself without ducks in a row. Enjoy your jouney is a good one. Poodle
Geno1a 35years fibrosis 2 or 3 different results from different hospitals ??
24weeks mesochem sof/led as unsure of fibrosis status.
currently UND. No bad side effects
Have svr12 … waiting for svr 24

Poodle when I went for my blood tests the path lab didn’t even know what a Hepascore was and had to ring Head Office and she was told to do another test – the ELF – “Enhanced Liver Fibrosis” test, claiming it was the same because it was a way of using blood to determine Fibrosis level. I spoke to Dr James about it and ‘Yes, it is a Fibrosis measure blood test BUT not the same as the Hepascore because they use slightly different markers (?) to calculate it.’ Apparently, because the Tx for HepC with DAA’s is so new these tests are also new and so some Labs do their own ‘version’. I have read that the Hepascore can’t be done during Tx but maybe the other Fibrosis blood tests can?
Maybe, query that with the Doc?Anyway, as a complete aside, like Chester I’ve been dying to find something to ‘rant’ about because I love that banana But I’ve got nothing so just for fun – Hahah I love them

GGT 50H14 January 2016 at 11:00 am #9070Wow, so many new ‘faces’ on here, new people finding their way here to get cured. Its like people finding their way to some magical place and the rest of us are here waiting saying, yes, come on in, welcome, get better…..instead of wait, beg, get sicker and come back later.
Place is exploding exponentially and thats what it should be doing.
Best wishes to all you new folks who are going to get better soon
