    @2b

    Don’t know if it was just me, but before treatment I was getting these horrendous looking bruises from what were inconsequential little bumps during the day. They looked like somebody whacked me with a ballpeen hammer, all purple, big nasty and it would be from some small thing that was so minor of a bump that I usually couldn’t even remember what it was that caused it.

    All gone now!! Just realized that the other day, before I usually had at least one nasty looking bruise somewhere, now theres nothing. I’m figuring this just has to be one more good thing, one more indication that things are better.

    GT 2b; since 80’s, no prior tx, sofosbuvir and daclatasvir compounded from API’s at Kingswood Pharmacy in Sydney, started tx nov 6,2015, undetected at 4 wks, UND at 8 weeks, UND at 1 week after EOT, UND at 4 weeks after EOT and UND at 8 weeks after EOT. I feel GOOD!! I knew that I WOULD!””

    Heya 2b

    Yep im the same, i used to bruise easily however this has improved ten fold since Ive been on tx. I believe the liver in an inflammatory state such as with HCV, platelet activity can be affected thus bruising is more prominent in people with HCV.

    Yeah, me too. I used to get horrible bruises in my fingers from carrying those thin plastic disposable shopping bags that supermarkets give away. It was almost as if a vein had burst. Also, I used to get nose-bleeds every few weeks. It is now over 3 months since I had a problem with either. Strange coincidence? I think not!
