I’m having way less distress than I did with interferon/ribavarin.
I got an energy boost right when I started taking it that lasted a week or so before I started getting a variety of extra symptoms.
I’ve been drinking lots of water and avoiding foods I’ve found to be problematic in the past.
At the moment indigestion is the worst of it for me and I don’t want to take anything for it that might interfere with the antivirals.
I can tolerate it, I’m almost 1/3 done.
I’m just going to take it easy until I take all the medicine.

Yes to all you wrote I remember these sx from my DAAs too they’re nothing much at all yay it’s a miracle really
Such an easy tx compared to that killer toxic stuff yes! No hospital admissions or losing hair and all that yukko stuff with DAAs

I read this whilst resting after colonoscopy last week and I so had plenty of hours to read it a couple of times.
All I can say from my heart is that I am damned lucky to have responded to the Sof/led straight up and that the old tx didn’t stuff that up as well as some other parts of my little world.
Also appreciate the posts which included graphs on generic data in another recent thread. I do like stats and data and research, weirdly! Doesn’t necessarily fit my profile as a trained classical musician. Mind you we did stats at uni!

Congratulations and Thankyou for sharing your news of SVR24 and those great LFTs with us, it’s a bright start to the day here in Oz to wake up to this fabulous news.We are cyst buddies, I’m a kidney cyst gal here too. Around a fortnight ago my kidneys etc were checked again, the 4cm one still only 4cm thank goodness and the small one on my other kidney does have calcification, but it’s non obstructing.
My liver is okay however, I send a hug over that news you have; I haven’t experienced that side of HCV fortunately. I am quite aware of how lucky I am re my livers good health.
You sound very vigilant with tests, well I am too, my colonoscopy was two days ago and I await histology atm.
These are such ‘small’ issues but agree should be mindful and I Thankyou and agree totally re your post.
I hope everyone gets checked for general health so that once free of HCV we can deal with any other stuff and move ahead with our new lives

Ariel Thankyou Fitz and welcome back too
I had a small basic day surgery yesterday and it went well.
Just waiting for the biopsy of the one ‘blob’ that was hiding in my gut. It’s gone now
I will be just fine.
Much better than the ten ‘blobs’ that were hiding in there last time post old tx!
Thanks to a different specialist who is very well respected locally and I have heard great props from other people about his practice, I was extended a wonderful duty of care. It was a pleasant change from some recent not so great general anaesthetics and not so great ‘bedside manner’.

I’m sure to be popping by occasionally even though I am almost 24 weeks post EOT my time has flown! I’m waiting for your labs, Matt, Beaches, ROHCV, so many others who are on the road near or just post EOT
