I am confused…I was just grazing the internet, despite knowing that can be a risk, and MedicineNet.com stated that ‘achieving an SVR is NOT a CURE” !!!!!!! Pardon? …please can I have medical feedback. I thought an SVR meant cured. I am so confused, how can achieving an SVR not equate to a cure? Is this a lexical semantic or what….comments please

Hi isaing4 Thankyou for your really great data in your blog and your questions they are very helpful to many people incl myself here on only Day 8. I know of a few people who have done all extra six weeks
I also hear that some are still detected at 4 weeks but clear later on
It seems that the aim of achieving an SVR isn’t tightly linked to the four weeks result to my thinking
Wishing us all our SVR hang in there all

I haven’t had a cycle since the first peg/inf they just disappeared and never came back
I don’t know if I had menopause because I was too sick from that tx to really tell.
Before peg/inf I was okay but I suspect peri-menopausal
I have two adult children I wonder if hepC brings on early change of life because my friends were not having their cycle all over the place like mine was for a few years before I was diagnosed then the peg/inf/riba just nuked whatever was left anyway
I’m never going to do any hormone replacement either it’s way too dangerous I think because of my family history of BC
Did anyone else find that peg/inf nuked whatever youthjuice they had too?
