Its good to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this but it is dreadful having to have this malaise. I have only a couple more weeks to go-20th week- so I can hang in there knowing that other people have the same experience. Its the treatment and not some horrible liver cancer lurking in the shadows. If a Dr said to me that extended use of Dac is harming the liver, then I would immediately reduce the dose.
I am a non-responder to other treatments and I am determined to give this my best shot. I started taking milk thistle for a bit of liver of support. Will have to wait on the results. Other people in the forum advise against milk thistle but I am of the opinion that drug companies would have looked at the interaction with the meds cause its a widely used herb for the liver. They warned about St Johns Wort. They would have warned the use of milk thistle too. Thanks for sharing, it has put my mind at ease. kindly BerriniceI will Hate, Hate, Hate Gilead for ever A.L. If they weren’t so greedy, people would have a good fighting chance of being alive today. I lost my cousin the other day to a Hep C related illness. You obviously haven’t been around many Hep related deaths. I will hate Gilead forever. Furthermore I offered Gilead $30,000. Bastards knocked me back. Greedy, Greedy, Greedy. Gilead are PIGS. To defend Gilead is criminal.
My gastro said that the few viruses I had left would be killed off by my immune system. Extended treatment wasn’t necessary. So far my immune system ain’t done right by me so I decided to extend treatment for a few more months. Maybe that’s why I am having some health problems but I will deal with them as they arise. No more virus for me after 42 years.
I think the generics played a big part in the final deal. My gut instinct is a Turnbull tactic. Abbott wouldn’t have pulled it off. And I still think the Hep organisations should have the pathways to generics on their website as soon as it got rolling. So much energy and bickering was wasted. Everyone was surprised at the announcement. Now the campaign is to get everyone treated at the drug company’s expensive. We owe it to the people who died waiting for the greedy bastards to back down from their extortion. Happy New Year. kindly
it was from sourced from here . that chemist uses a firm called astral scientific – not sure if they put the compounds together, nobody mentioned meschocem
I find this new illness serious otherwise I would have asked a comedian their opinion
no riba for about 3 weeks. its not diet, meat eater. I had bristol myer squibb daclatasvir for 3 months, then bought in sydney after a couple of weeks I starting getting really tired again like with hep so I had thyroid and a blood test which showed b12 and folic acid deficiency, the only thing that changed was the source of declatasvir. Also I am not happy with the shoddy certificate of analysis that came with the meds.
the dickie batch no is 20150929
be very careful. I am going to get my money back
I have just been diagnosed deficient B12 & folic acid associated with a) alcoholism or b) leukemia
kingswood pharmacy in sydney
whoops should red 0.38% ETHANOL .
That’s great to hear you are doing well after 24 weeks – working part-time is quite an achievement considering Hep C’s lingering complications. Cryoglobulin proteins are a bastard. Lyn from Tassie had that problem with mainly joint pains.
About Gilead medicating patients after the billion is spent, it wouldn’t surprise me if Turnbull had a hand in the final process. I feel only someone like him could dream up such a challenge. kindlywriting the card now to Helen, Nonna. kindly
I guess the slow down of treatment access will be booked out clinics. My source, only a week ago said that it was going to be 62,000 over 5 years for treatment.
Sorry Pete, if you spent the money, at the time what I told you was accurate. -
