The sweet sound of SVR12. That’s wonderful news Songbird. Congratulations!
That’s such great news Tigerfan. It’s always special to see people that had to suffer interferon finally win the battle. Congratulations.
Aw shucks Hazel! Thanks so much for your kind words (and beautiful flower and butterfly). Thanks to Vororo and Dr James too. I like the sound of Queen Coral!
When I visited Tasmania early this year I caught up with Dr James for lunch. He also invited Greg Jefferys so there I was, trying not to behave like a fan girl, with two of my all time heroes.
Like many my Hep C story was at times a scary, secretive and lonely one. This forum not only provided me with advice and support, particularly during my relapse, but helped me to accept what was and to shed the shame. At that lunch I decided that my way of paying it forward was to continue to support people through this site.
My other more personal reason is Gaj. His impact on me and my Hep C journey is hard to explain. I like to think that I am honouring him and helping in a small way to carry on some of this genuine support of others.
You continue to inspire me Hazel with your fearless work for the cause. Your words mean a lot to me.
Thank you.5 August 2018 at 7:16 am in reply to: 30 yrs of HepC, 30 day result on Harvoni – Undetectable! #28407Hi lifepivoting,
I think this is your last day of treatment. Congratulations – it’s such a great feeling.
Things will just get better and better.Coral
Hi Sonja,
It’s wonderful to hear that things are going so well for your BF. Well done to both of you – I know you walked every step of the way with him and that support is invaluable.

Welcome Kansuku. Well done – you’ve found the right place to achieve your goal to get rid of the Hep C virus in a cost effective way.
Mar and mrcleanrt have given you great advice on how to organise your treatment. It can all seem a bit overwhelming at first but it is surprisingly straightforward.
I had Hep C for decades and was one of the earlier recipients of treatment through FixHepC. It started with my blood test results, a Skype consultation with Dr Freeman, a prescription, the transfer of money to FixhepC and a few weeks later I received my treatment through the post. Dr Freeman was my doctor throughout my treatment.
I was one of those 5% of people who relapse after the first treatment. That was tough but the process started again through Dr Freeman with a different treatment regime and now I am well and truly cured.
You will find lots of information and support on this forum. Best of luck – I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Great news Redhead. Those are good looking numbers….
I agree Serg. Gaj was all of those things and more. He was a great support to many of us. I miss him too.
Great news mrcleanrt. That first UNDETECTED is very special.
Hi Barb,
Welcome and well done for taking the first steps towards a Hep C free life. I think I also had the virus for nearly four decades and with the help and support of Dr Freeman, GP2U and many wonderful people on this forum I am cured and continue to feel and appreciate the benefits.
I look forward to hearing that you have started your treatment. Ask away if you have any questions – chances are someone else has thought it, asked it, felt it or worried about it. You have come to the right place and with Dr Freeman you couldn’t be in safer hands.

Hi Kaju,
I know what a worry it is when you are waiting for results so I’m really pleased to read about your good news. I’m looking forward to your 6 month update.

Hi Cristine,
I am catching up with everyone’s good news. I remember how wonderful it was to get that first undetected so congratulations. Best of luck with the rest of your treatment.
CoralHi Joanna,
I’ve been travelling this past few months so I haven’t been into the forum. I think it’s never too late to add some heartfelt congratulations though…. so well done. I hope your Hep C life continues to bring you joy.

Hi James,
Congratulations on your undetected status. I also found that it took a while for my body to settle down and it was incremental shifts to better health post treatment. At the moment I am getting a house ready for sale and it has really shown me how much healthier and stronger I am both physically and emotionally.
