Hi Dr. Freeman and my fellows heppers,
Just got my 84 day blood test:
VL UNDETECTED ( #love this word)
    GGT: 30, AST 28, ALT 33, AFP 5.14.
Though I’m only half way to EOT but have more energy and confidence
Will see my hepatologist this afternoon, so one question please : should I ask her to drop Ribavirin as I’ve got diarrhea and itching rashes problems ?

    Kindest regards
    Dac

Now I’m more confident to recommend these meds to my acquaintances. not coz I had any doubt but in my country, patients and doctors are still suspicious about these new generics and they will believe more knowing that it worked on me (i’m like the guinea pig) .
One friend already brought 6 bottles of Hepcivir L back from Bangkok and started his 1st week without side-effects.
Will contact mr. G for another patient in coming days.
Hope to contribute a small part to help others getting access to cheaper drugs like you all in this wonderful community.

    Kindest regards.

I was taking it to boost my immune system after failed the Peg/Rib treatment, and together with other natural supplements, it helped to minimize damages to my liver during all these 7 years waiting for new DAA tx. But not any more as well as the others now following to my hepatologist advice, she’s very strict about this

Just got the blood tests results after 12 days treatment (still don’t know why my doctor asked for it so soon ?): VL down from 10 millions to 567 IU/ml, all AST, ALT, GGT and PLT back to normal. Still a long road ahead but it gave me hope and strength in this fight.
Thank you so much for mr. G and this wonderful community for your advice and support so far !
    Kindest regards.

Do you need these meds for treatment ?
I could have them shipped to HCM but I can’t make the customs clearance due to lack of import permission for personal treatment ! With the help of a friend, the meds were shipped to him and he gave them to me in Bangkok and I brought back in my carry-on bag. That’s it.
Hope all is clear now. If you need more information please PM.

    Hi Dr. Freeman and everybody,
I’m actually on Day 3, feeling great except that my bowels are working a little bit maybe due to the 1200 mg of Rib. Should I have some yogurts ? Love it.
Besides, I read in some thread that Amlodipine is not recommended for Led/Sof Tx, isn’t it ? Is there a substitute for my hypertension ?
My lady doctor prescribed to me Esomeprazole (PRAMEBIG 20MG), I looked up at Liverpool Hep-chart and it comes out:
“Coadministration has not been studied, but data with omeprazole show only a small decrease in ledipasvir exposure. Proton pump inhibitor doses comparable to omeprazole 20 mg can be administered simultaneously with ledipasvir/sofosbuvir. Proton pump inhibitors should not be taken before ledipasvir/sofosbuvir.” Shoud I skip it ?

    Thanks.
