Dr. Freeman, you are not obsolete! This just seems appropriate, given how you are being treated.
SVR 12!! Goal and Score!!
So happy for you!!
4 June 2016 at 5:05 am in reply to: 08th of June – Indian PM Modi – joint meeting with US Congress #18350India may pledge to block generic exports. Just like USA officially will not allow generic imports.
The message: YOU!, you cannot import generics from India! It’s illegal!
But it’s India. Someone is going to sell you the drugs, cuz it’s not heroin.
No package yet has been blocked and destroyed in USA
USA! The Senate has publicly criticized Gilead! The gate is open folks!
I urge everyone here to put the fight to the establishment, because I can’t do it anymore
I’m 55, and been through a lot. I categorize people into two types.
1. Selfish POS
2. Human beingThere is no reasoning to type 1. They probably know better, but are concerned with their bottom line more that anything.
It’s all about activism here IMO. Very few countries are going to embrace generics. They are going to embrace Gilead and that big fucking fat cloud of money they generate. Hookers and private jets for the select few! Brain fog and death for everyone else.
Gotta keep this site alive, put it on multiple servers globally if necessary.
It may only help a small percent of people, but I think that is the people who are here now.
YOU…you are here because someone denied you and you found this place, especially if you are not in Australia. Preserve this for those who will not be denied.
Just curious why the Youtube videos were removed?
The Incepta videos have been removed from Youtube.
Anyone from Incepta have any comments?
That’s great news Defeat10! I bet the next test comes back undetected
Congratulations Isaing4 on the big SVR 12!
Let the good times roll!
I don’t know if things have changed, but I was able to import Twinvir into USA from Bangladesh with a prescription from http://www.GP2U.com (Tasmania). I thought with Indian meds you needed an Indian RX?
If it is necessary for this site to begin operations overseas, I would like to make the suggestion that it is based (server location) in a country that does not honor Gilead’s patent. If this site were based in USA, I think there would also be big problems. If it was registered in Bangladesh (under someone else than Dr. Freeman) and located on a server in China, then I think the governmental frustration level will be clearly off the charts. Gilead would be just besides themselves in grief.
Exactly fitz, their only interest is in the money.
The laws in Australia seem a bit wacky to me.
The country allows the sale of generic DAA’s via the compounding pharmacies. Then why aren’t more doctors advising patients of this choice?
The FixhepC website could be hosted in USA (I think) and then foreign Doctor’s offering prescriptions to foreign meds or advice could advertise on that site, so that the site is not involved in commercially promoting illegal generic meds. Ad prices could start very low, based on competitive free market competition , or perhaps free in some sort of “physicians market” section with a “pharma’s market section also included. Like an unmoderated, “Craigslist” style version of FixHepC. perhaps using user ratings as a gauge of trustworthiness of suppliers. (?)
Chester, yes I am in USA. We get these ads for Harvoni and everything else you can think of on TV, print and online. It’s all legal here.
Fitz, I agree but here is the truth in USA, the pharma companies charge whatever they want. Insurance companies either cover it, or they don’t. The cost of illness is forced on the government, but also on the individual. For example:
Gilead has a program for people who are not covered by insurance. It’s called ‘Support Path’ You apply to them for care, because you have no insurance. They want you to apply for medicare, and be denied for coverage. Under medicare you need to be destitute and have under $5000 net worth. If you have more than $5000 then you need to use the money or assets for treatment. Then they will pay for Harvoni.
If you are poor, and qualify for grants like I did, they still want you to pay. I qualified for $73,000 in grants, Gilead wanted me to get a loan for $23,000 and then I could get Harvoni.
Wait a minute…do you get these ads for Harvoni on TV or online in Australia? If so you should organize protests! Why is that not considered advertising? That ad is on TV in USA every day!
