I read that milk thistle was one of the few supplements on the no-no list when on these meds. The other I remember was St. John’s wart.
28 January 2016 at 4:25 am in reply to: Greedfighter’s Generic Epclusa or Harvoni to USA Journal #10611Day 13, and my energy level is off the charts. I feel like I am 20 again (I’m 55) No afternoon tiredness….I charge right through the day, I can only hope this is permanent. After so many years of only being “awake” half the day it is great. I think I also look healthier, to quote George Costanza (Seinfeld) I have a rosy glow…a pinkish hue in my face, lol. I am going to get tested for blood work before 8 weeks; just because I did not expect such a rapid improvement and I am curious.
So I feel like sharing, this is my journal so I can say what I want
To anyone in USA reading this, if you are waiting for your insurance to approve Harvoni, I wish you luck unless you are really ill. I was rejected 3 times, twice on denials and once on appeal. The process took 5 months; however each time I was denied, the denial reasoning became increasingly vindictive and cruel. On appeal, I was sent a horrid letter that stated because I WAS NOT ON THE TRANSPLANT WAITING LIST, they could not care less. These are the words of a Demon….I share this because if you are not really ill you have a chance to either get Twinvir, or meds through the buyers club here, for less than $2K total for 12 weeks of treatment. You can afford it….You can’t afford not to! You are going to be more clear headed and have more energy when cured. You’ll earn this investment in your future back within a few years, max. Take a cash advance on Visa and cure yourself if you have to. The TPP agreement Obama is pushing and that could be signed within months may end the chance to get these meds, even if you travel overseas. You’ll have to go overseas and tape them to your body like a drug courier! Or you can do it now and have DHL or FedEx bring it to you!
Read Gilead’s earnings statement and forward looking guidance. Gilead has no intention of reducing the price of treatment for many years to come (10+). Gilead’s plan is to wait until people qualify for insurance (get on the transplant list). Then they make a sale. So there will be no change in strategy.
I contacted Gilead for assistance, I qualified for $73K in grants because I am low income. So with their help, they wanted me to get a $23K loan for treatment. Full price $94.5K How kind hearted! I told them I will just get meds from offshore, thanks for nothing!
I agree about Twinvir, Mike. I was able to have Twinvir shipped easily via third party to USA. All I needed was an RX from GP2U. My shipment sailed right through customs. Thanks again for your help!
Dan, I understand your concern, I too hope I am VL undetected by 8 weeks. But you were VL 12 at 4 weeks! That is very good, so maybe you are VL 2 or 3, with 4 weeks to go. I told you my plan is undetected plus 4 weeks, but I am only going to extend to 16 weeks at most and then see what happens after 12 EOT, because as noted the VL does still go undetected after treatment ends. At that point I would retreat with this drug and the newer drug simeprevir or something like that.
Dan, I would not worry. Everyone progresses differently. Enkel was undetected at 2 weeks on Twinvir, and his story actually encouraged me to want Twinvir. Undetected at 2 weeks is the best result I have read on this forum! CJ was VL 37 after one week, down from 2 million!
Twinvir was tested, it is a Harvoni copy just like the others. Incepta is a big, quality company. I am sure there is nothing wrong with Twinvir. I feel like it is working. Have faith brother!
Hi Zhuk! Glad to hear your treatment is going so well with no side effects. Waing to hear your test results. Good Luck!
Great to hear your enzymes are already normal frankie. Good luck with your treatment!
I just wanted to post an observation….
Mike you said the only packages you know of being detained were both originated in India.
Gilead has stated they are going to be vigilant about making sure Indian generics don’t make there way to countries that India has not been approved to send meds to. The packaging on the Indian generic Ledifos has a line that reads “For sale in India only”. So maybe Australia or Bangladesh will not be on the radar to the extent that India is, given that India is the country that everyone is aware that generics will be produced there due to all the media coverage. So Gilead is probably focusing it’s influence over FDA to scrutinize Indian drug exports to USA. That is probably where the majority of Harvoni or Sovaldi exports will be coming from. So from a USA perspective, an individual is probably better off trying to import from Australia or Bangladesh.
Hi Michaela,
Here is the link to the Incepta thread on this forum http://fixhepc.com/forum/daa-access/435-incepta-pharmaceuticals-sof-dac-sof-led-comb.html
You can contact Alimul Razi, the Brand Manager at Incepta and he can arrange shipment through a third party.
Great news! Good luck!
Good luck Ariel! I’m right behind you on Sof/led for 12 weeks, just took pill 9.
That letter from the FDA is troubling. Is it suggesting a change in US policy?
23 January 2016 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Greedfighter’s Generic Epclusa or Harvoni to USA Journal #10224Day 8 and my energy level keeps getting better every day. I find that I sleep better. I used to only sleep for a few hours and then wake up. Now I seem to be able to sleep 5 or 6 hours uninterrupted.
I have had a few headaches, but they seem to be short lived, sometimes only lasting 5 minutes. Hopefully they won’t get any worse.
If anybody wants to post something on a US based website, it should be “check out fixhepc.com for ideas and help in treatment”, Remember everyone in USA and around the world are being denied treatment. Most people can afford the $2000 or less for treatment and/or airfare to Bangladesh (Incepta), Australia etc. for generic options. Incepta listed first because Bangladesh allows a one day visit, and they helped me (Incepta ) If you post about generic medications on mainstream site, you will most likely be deleted. But a suggestion to visit this site will be allowable. Remember they are running a business based on ad revenue. Just get people to be curious to visit this site and discover generics.
Hi Suzy,
I had Hep B too, as well as Hep C. I’ve never heard about it sleeping. My doctor was concerned many years ago when I was actively co-infected. He then told me one day that he had great news, my Hep B was “dormant” and no longer a worry to me. He told me I was not even able to infect anybody with it. I’ve never heard it could come back.
I would get the Harvoni treatment if you can, and remember you can get generic Harvoni here through the buyers club very easily. It will cost you less than $2,000 including an Australian doctor’s RX (GP2U) and if you can have them delivered to UK, but I think you have to go to UK and get them.
